A list of features unique to mutt-ng:
* Better view support for format=flowed attachments.
* Message IDs are configurable.
* User can set signoff_string just like in slrn.
* User can call up the "last folder" when saving attachments.
* IMAP reconnecting: when the connection to the IMAP server dies,
mutt-ng attempts reconnecting.
* User can set the umask with which all the files shall be created
(was hard-coded before, and caused huge problems for shared
mailboxes to some people).
* Support for NNTP, i.e. mutt-ng can be used as a newsreader.
* A sidebar similar to other (graphical) MUAs where you can directly
jump to a certain mailbox.

OpenSync is a synchronization framework that is platform and distribution
independent. It consists of several plugins that can be used to connect to
devices, a powerfull sync-engine and the framework itself. The synchronization
framework is kept very flexible and is capable of synchronizing any type of
data, including contacts, calendar, tasks, notes and files.
Note: You may want to avoid extra dependencies from devel/swig13 by building with
the following SWIG_LANGUAGES="perl python"

Waterfall is yet another XMMS spectrum analyzer. While most analyzers only
show a changing snapshot of the current sound, waterfall shows a scrolling
spectrogram, a 2-d plot of frequency vs time, with energy represented by
intensity. There are also options to use color to display stereo
discrepancies, frequency onsets, or frequency uniformity.

Since their world was invaded by an alien race, the Blobs have faced a
lifetime of war. But now they have a chance to win the war once and for all.
In Blob Wars : Metal Blob Solid, you take on the role of a fearless Blob
agent, Bob. Bob's mission is to infiltrate the various enemy bases around
the Blobs' homeworld and rescue as many MIAs as possible. But standing in his
way are many vicious aliens, other Blobs who have been assimilated and the
evil alien leader, Galdov.

- USE_LINUX now implies NO_FILTER_SHLIBS=yes. It also doesn't use FreeBSD
tools to strip binaries anymore, so it's not neccesary anymore to override
STRIP and STRIP_CMD.
- USE_LINUX_PREFIX implies NO_MTREE now.
- In the USE_LINUX case, USE_XLIB now depends upon the linux X11 libraries
instead upon the native FreeBSD libraries.
- The variable LINUX_BASE_PORT contains a string which is suitable as an
item in *_DEPENDS, so if a port BATCH_DEPENDS or FETCH_DEPENDS upon the
default (or overriden) linux base, ${LINUX_BASE_PORT} should be used
instead of a hardcoded reference.
- Change all ports to comply to the "new world order".
- The Ports Collection now allows to override the default linux_base port.
Specify e.g. OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=rh-9 in /etc/make.conf to use
${PORTSDIR}/emulators/linux_base-rh-9 (the logic is to use
${PORTSDIR}/emulators/linux_base-${OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT}).
- If USE_LINUX or OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE doesn't point to an existing linux_base
port and if USE_LINUX isn't set to "yes" (case insensitive), the port will
be marked as IGNORE. [1]
- Readd USE_LINUX knobs into several ports and make several uses of a
conditional dependency ("USE_LINUX?=") into an unconditional one
("USE_LINUX=") which where removed/changed by Trevor to allow the use of
alternative linux_base ports. While this is a nice goal, the implementation
resulted in missing dependencies. The OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT knob
in this commit is supposed to fix the problem while keeping the feature.
Basicaly this includes a backout of Trevor's commit, to prevent confusion
I mention it here explicitely.
- Use the correct prefix (X11- instead of LOCAL- or LINUX-) for some ports.
Chase dependencies for this.
- Changes to make linux_devtools installable on amd64, remove some stray
device nodes (they don't work on recent OS versions and aren't really
needed).
- Make linux_base-8 PREFIX clean and remove some stray device nodes.
Additionally tell a little bit more about how to setup NIS/YP [2].
- Update the PGSQL dependency in the linux-opengroupware port to a recent
version (the old one isn't available anymore), I don't know if this
works (at least it isn't more broken than before).
- Use PREFIX/usr/share/doc instead of PREFIX/usr/doc in the divx4linux
ports, the former path exists already and gets populated by other
packages too (PREFIX=LINUXPREFIX!).
- Fix some obvious (non-linuxolator) bugs in some linux ports while being
there.
- Bump PORTREVISION where neccesary.

- Fix man page.
- "make install" can now be run by non-root user.

flagged a port as BROKEN. Since INDEX builds just fine, it's pretty
obvious that all ports have been converted over to the current world
order, and this has been the case through at least the lifetime of 5.x,
so it's time they went away.

also doesn't require manual downloading, so remove the code to prompt
for that.
Note that although the checksum has changed, there are no differences
in the distfile save for the compression. I compared the uncompressed
tarball against one from http://www.etn.yz.yamagata-u.ac.jp/ipv6arc/socks/
which corresponded to the old checksum and they were identical (md5).
I chose to use the SGI MASTER_SITE instead since it would presumably
have more bandwidth.

swfdec-plugin is a Mozilla plugin for rendering flash (.swf) animations using
the gstreamer framework and the swfdec library. It should currently play Flash
4 files, and Flash 5 support is under development.

The versioned autotools are now strictly for building other ports in the tree.
Likewise, the gnu- autotools are for runtime dependencies for IDEs, and others,
where unmodified cross-platform capabilities are desired.

- Add a rcNG startup script
- Use mkstemp() instead of the insecure tempnam()
Moreover:
- Also create /var/spool/anacron when installed from a package
- Try to remove /var/spool/anacron when deinstalling the package; if
it fails, hint the user about removing it manually
- Respect ${CC}
- Install/deinstall ${PREFIX}/etc/anacrontab
- Split the monolithic patch-aa into separate patches
- Refactor some patches into ${REINPLACE_CMD} invocations
- Install the program ourselves (it is more straightforward than
fixing the vendor's Makefile)
- Use SUB_FILES=pkg-message

But, only graphics/ruby-evas depends on evas 0.6, and it's out of date.
I will remove graphics/ruby-evas later.

It's important to note here that these particular versions of autotools
will be left without FreeBSD-specific hacks, so that developers and IDEs
alike will be able to run in a pristine environment, ensuring
cross-platform capability. The prefix of ${LOCALBASE}/gnu-autotools
will remain untouched, it's merely a case of ensuring that they are
kept up to date.
