Update to xmms 1.2.8. See http://www.xmms.org/next_version.php for
a full description.
Please note that if you're running -current, some options will be
automaticly disabled due to the absence of -pthread in the current
gcc. For example, libmikmod might do this because of its --ldadd
option:
[~] edwin@ref5>libmikmod-config --ldadd
-pthread

The tarball has been rerolled to fix a bug in ASTK for Linux, but
they did not upgrade the version.
No impact on Code_Aster, excepted distinfo => I don't bump
PORTREVISION (nevertheless, it should be bumped by PR ports/55739).
The full story, in french, is here:
Fix distinfo.
Changes were in the $Id$ field and in the aster_main.sh script.

"LDMud started as a project to clean up and modernize Amylaar's LPMud
gamedriver. Primary goals are full documentation, a commented source
body and out-of-the-box support for the major mudlibs, of which the
commented source body has been pretty much completed. During the
course of work a lot of bug fixes and improvements found their way
into the driver - much more than originally expected, and definitely
enough to make LDMud a driver in its own right."

This port installs qmake, which is only needed to build Qt -- not
to use it. It should also help futute work on the Qt port, by not
requiring the developer to recompile qmake as frequently as at
present. This port uses Qt-3.2.1, which is not committed yet.

XawPlus is a clone of the original Xaw library, providing a more up to date
look and some extensions to the original Athena widget set. This library is
as compatible as possible to the original. It should be possible to compile
the source code of an Xaw client without any changes (except the include path
of the XawPlus header files) to get the new look of XawPlus to this client.
XawPlus makes it possible to use XPM pixmaps, tooltips, a truncate mechanism
for too long label strings and UTF8 coded UNICODE labels without changing the
code of your application.
XawPlus comes with a set of adapted applications using also the new
features of XawPlus.

This is a sample script for ${PREFIX}/etc/rc.d that will
wake snort up on boot, and take it down on shutdown. Nothing
fancy here. This is needed, because I'm planning on teaching
ACID many new things, and ACID expects snort to help itself.
There is only one thing that requires thinking here: This
should run only after {MySQL|PostgreSQL} server is up, as
snort might want to report to the local server.

I finnaly got fed up with that FAQ about chkrootkit. The
solution was either to add a Q+A to the FAQ or fix the port.
This introduce a new variable, FreeBSD5, that is set to
"yes" if we're running FreeBSD 5 or higher.
This variable is used to fix the tests of the following
binaries, so they would DTRT on FreeBSD 5: chfn chsh date
ls ps
I also fixed a bug in the cheking of vdir, but it's irrelevant
for FreeBSD.

multiprecision integer arithmetic libraries. Presently,
many though not all of the arithmetic operations that
OpenSSL provides are exposed to perl. In addition,
this module can be used to provide access to bignum
values produced by other OpenSSL modules, such as key
parameters from Crypt::OpenSSL::RSA.

wanted to test rc3 before turning it loose on people. So far, so good.

anyone I know is watching closely.
Drop maintainership. If someone thinks its worth looking after this
port, I have no objection to a responsible maintainer taking over.
Otherwise, I'll GC the port in a few months.
But really, it's high time folks upgrade to exim4.

I'll be happy to take maintainership over this one. I removed
the BROKEN notice on versions older than 3, as this was
completely rewritten and I feel somewhat optimistic today.
Please tell me if this is proves wrong. The patch to change
the Makefile is also not required anymore, I hope the
configure is doing the right magic, as I haven't tested it
when PREFIX!=/usr/local

This update consists mainly of removing strdup/sprintf/strcpy
and license change.
Commiter, please grab the tarball here:
http://j.xpert.com/FreeBSD/bsdtris-01092003.tar.gz
Please put it up somewhere stable. Don't fix the MASTERSITE
to point to this address. The last commiter to handle this
was edwin, and it's his address that's listed in the Makefile.
Tarball name changed from tetris- to bsdtris, and changes
to the tarball making script included.
There were reports about failure to run in several environments.
I could not reproduce those, but I intend to see if they
are magically fixed by this update.

[DESCRIBE CHANGES]
This band-aid fix inhibits IPFW detection at configure time.
At least it will allow -CURRENT users to build ports depending
on this one (net/honeyd, net/arpd, net/ttlscan,
security/fragroute).
Note that this doesn't solve the FreeBSD 4.x + IPFW2 case.
Added directory / file: files/configure.patch
Port maintainer (dominic.marks@btinternet.com) is cc'd.

For some unknown reason, the fetch broke on libh. I think
it might be because some CVS access broke and also because
the port still depends on CVS, which is idiotic since
tarballs have been available for a while now.

I don't use xscreensaver, so I haven't tested it, but the patch compiles
just fine and doesn't break the normal operation.
- Remove comment about GNOME support in the port Makefile, we don't need
