of the bit 21 of eflags register. This should fix `sigreturn: eflags ...'
problem in many threaded GNOME apps.
Update is highly recommended to all GNOME users - it improves stability
of Nautilus, Balsa etc greatly.

initial state of the bit 21 of the eflag register. This reduces possibility
that the threaded program linked with libpng will die due to arrival of the
signal during probing for the CPU type. More proper fix has been committed
into the -current kernel and will be MFC'ed soon, but this workaround is
necessary for those with older systems.
Among other things, this should make Nautilus, Balsa and other multi-threaded
GNOME programs more stable, therefore update is recommended to all existing
users.

Ok, due to a popular demand following is a clarification of the previous
message.
Add Ernst de Haan (znerd) as a brand new ports committer. Ernst will be
working on making FreeBSD a best platform for serious Java applications.
He is also considering taking over FreeBSD Java pages, which is a also
a good thing, considering how stale those pages are.
I am his mentor.

Haan <ernsth@nl.euro.net> on board.
Ernst is known for his pathological love towards the programming language that
is also loved by all hardware manufacturers for its exceptionally high
resources requirements.
He will be concentrating on making FreeBSD the best platform for the above
mentioned language.
BTW, he is going to be the last ports committer approved by the core...

- Move removal of "test" directory from Makefile.in to Makefile.am, to

patch-Makefile.in and add patch-Makefile.am.

Report. We welcome, to our lines, undercover agent Patrick Li
<pat@{databits.net,FreeBSD.org}>. He is in charge of getting inside
information on teenagers as well as any other prospective users.
He began working out an impressive collection of both windowmanager
and FPS server ports. As always, we deny any official knowledge
of his existence. As you were!
"The skies proclaimed through blowing thunder horns which shattered
both flesh and bones of mere mortals that yet another weirdo was
coming. And, that shall be done... or, bang, perhaps not. Radio:
Roger that. Enemy down."
He is going to be a ports committer for now, mentored by
lioux. His current declared interests range from volunteering in
the close-a-PR-today campaign to adding new ports to several
categories of the tree. Furthermore, he has shown interest (as he
gains the necessary knowledge) in future work in other areas, e.g.,
src and docs.

Problem was that configure detects uname(3) and uses uname(3) in

The OSSP lmtp2nntp program is an LMTP service for use in conjunction
with an MTA (like Sendmail), providing a reliable real-time mail to news
gateway. Input messages get their headers slightly reformatted to match
Usenet news article format. The article is then posted or feeded into
a remote NNTP service (like INN). Delivery must take place immediately
or the transaction fails. OSSP lmtp2nntp relies on the queuing
capabilities of the MTA in order to provide a fully reliable service.
For this the program returns proper delivery status notification which
indicates successful completed action, persistent transient failure or
permanent failure.
