* Port of KPilot, the KDE style frontend to your 3Com PalmPilot.se1998-03-077-0/+118
| | | | | | | | | This port contains a recent version of libtool/ltmain.sh in "files", since I spent to many hours trying to make the "ltconfig" that comes with the kpilot sources DTRT under FreeBSD ... This port compiles cleanly, but has not been actually tested with a PalmPilot. If you want me to test it send one :)

| | | | go back to the previous revision.
* Fix kfmsu2 (which actually should *never* be used on a multi-user system!)se1998-03-051-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The original version was not compatible with the FreeBSD version of "su" (it assumed that "su - -c CMD" executed CMD as root), and it required root to have a POSIX shell as login shell (not a C shell). The original "xhost +local:root" could mislead the user to assume that only root was given permission to access hist X11 display, but the user parameter is ignored by xhost (as of XFree86 3.3.1). This allows *every* user on the local system to grab all keypresses or screen contents while kfmsu2 has not run to completion. Starting several instances of kfmsu and leaving one will revoke access to the X11 display to all others ... In fact, kfmsu might be considered *that* broken by design, that it should not be installed, but it's a part of kdebase and I do not want to disable it in case somebody has a legitimate use for it ... The non-functionality of kfmsu was pointed out by Glenn Johnson.

* If BATCH is defined, then build apache-php with mysql support.andreas1998-02-233-0/+18
| | | | | | | Reasons: - mysql is free software and very popular. - msql is only free for private use - msql isn't as fast and reliable (from hearsay)
* Remove brokenness from this port ;-) Thanks to Dirk Froemberg.andreas1998-02-236-78/+108
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | New features: - You have to set variable PHP_DBTYPE to msql or mysql by typing make PHP_DBTYPE=[ msql | mysql ] to build the port with msql or mysql support. - The php configuration isn't interactive anymore Theoretically we could default to mysql database and build a package, so that make batch could work ! - Cleaned up port dependency, so that libgd actually gets build (I fixed this one) - made portlint as happy as I could, changed /usr/local to ${PREFIX} and changed sed -> ${SED} The only thing that is missing now is an apache-php-SSL port and postgresql support ;-)) Submitted by: Dirk Froemberg <ibex@physik.TU-Berlin.DE>
