The commit r203862 indirectly broke mythtv because until
that time the missing include of <sys/types.h> caused
that mythtv used gettimeofday(2) instead of ftime(3) and
nobody noticed that building with ftime is broken in
mythtv.
So instead of repairing the deprecated ftime usage I've
removed it and use the gettimeofday fallback as it was
until now but by pure intention now.

It works with any phone that Gammu supports, including many models from
Nokia, Siemens, and Alcatel. It has complete support (read, edit,
delete, copy) for contacts, todo, and calendar. It can read, save, and
send SMS. It includes an SMS composer for multi-part SMS messages, and
it can display SMS messages that include pictures. Currently, only text
and predefined bitmaps or sounds can be edited in the SMS composer. It
can export messages to an IMAP4 server (or other email storage).
This program does not support browsing files in phone.

between coordinates in geodetic WGS84 format using the Haversine
formula.
It is similar to GIS::Distance, but without the extra bells and
whistles and without the additional dependencies. Same great taste,
less filling. It exists for those who cannot, or prefer not to
install Moose and its dependencies.

OpenIPMI library will connect with an IPMI controller, detect any
management controllers on the bus, get their SDRs, manage all the
entities in the system, manage the event log, and a host of other
things. OpenIPMI is also dynamic and event-driven. It will come up
and start discovering things in the managed system. As it discovers
things, it will report them to the software using it (assuming the
software has asked for this reporting).

- Make libexif dependency mandatory: it is no longer considered optional by
upstream sources, and there is no --without-exif configure script switch
- Ensure that optional dependencies are recorded correctly (prevent silent
dependency injection)
- Augment list of available plugins (FFmpeg, GD) and add GnuTLS support
- Correctly depend on QT components (via bpm infrastructure)
- Clean up Makefile a bit and rearrange pkg-plist for better readability

This only adds -funsigned-char to CFLAGS and I haven't seen
it break anything or anyone report any issues with not having the update.
It was also only neccessary in apr 0.9.x not apr 1.x+

===========
Add a --packages-local option for those who wish to use only local
packages, and never attempt to fetch from a remote site.
Bug Fix
=======
Fix a braino for --index-first and --index-only:
The cross-checking of the command line options needs to happen before
the environment variables are set.
Cleanups And Optimizations
==========================
1. LOCALBASE_COMPAT is only ever used in combination with /pkg at the
end, so fold that into the variable to start with.
2. Indicate to the user that -p is deprecated
3. Allow setting of DISTDIR directly in .portmasterrc like the other
widely used vars. This entails the following:
a. Capitalize distdir every place that it's used.
b. Add to the list of --options to check which mean we don't even
have to try to set it. This saves us a call to make(1).
c. Don't set it to / if DISTDIR is empty, which makes error checking
later on easier.
d. Mark DISTDIR (and related vars) global in a few more functions
to make it consistent.
4. Move the test for version > 6.4 first in the list, no point in
processing a bunch of stuff only to bail out later.
5. Unset the test_command_line function when we're done using it
6. Be smarter about whether or not to use $PM_SU_CMD to fetch the
INDEX.bz2
7. Improve cross-option error checking for the --packages* options

release can be found at http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.30/ .
This release brings initial PackageKit support, Upower (replaces power
management part of hal), cuse4bsd integration with HAL and cheese, and a
faster Evolution.
Sadly GNOME 2.30.x will be the last release with FreeBSD 6.X support. This
will also be the last of the 2.x releases. The next release will be the
highly-anticipated GNOME 3.0 which will bring with it a new UI experience.
Currently, there are a few bugs with GNOME 2.30 that may be of note for our
users. Be sure to consult the UPGRADING note or the 2.30 upgrade FAQ at
http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/docs/faq230.html for specific upgrading
instructions, and the up-to-date list of known issues.
This release features commits by avl, ahze, bland, marcus, mezz, and myself.
The FreeBSD GNOME Team would like to thank Anders F Bjorklund for doing the
initual packagekit porting.
