| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | acefile is an implementation of the ACE archive format. It is intended to be used as a library, but also provides a stand-alone unace utility. As mostly pure-python implementation, it is significantly slower than native implementations, but more robust against vulnerabilities. This implementation supports up to version 2.0 of the ACE archive format, including the EXE, DELTA, PIC and SOUND modes of ACE 2.0, password protected archives and multi-volume archives. It does not support writing to archives. It is an implementation from scratch, based on the 1998 document titled "Technical information of the archiver ACE v1.2" by Marcel Lemke, using unace 2.5 and WinAce 2.69 by Marcel Lemke as reference implementations. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The port invokes the linker directly (not via the compiler driver). lld does not include any default search paths (unlike the GNU BFD linker so cannot find libraries specified as e.g. -lm or -lz. This can be addressed by invoking the linker via the compiler driver, or by specifying the search path explicitly with -L. For now just avoid using lld to link the port. * Convert Python ports to FLAVORS.mat2018-02-049-35/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ports using USE_PYTHON=distutils are now flavored. They will automatically get flavors (py27, py34, py35, py36) depending on what versions they support. There is also a USE_PYTHON=flavors for ports that do not use distutils but need FLAVORS to be set. A USE_PYTHON=noflavors can be set if using distutils but flavors are not wanted. A new USE_PYTHON=optsuffix that will add PYTHON_PKGNAMESUFFIX has been added to cope with Python ports that did not have the Python PKGNAMEPREFIX but are flavored. USES=python now also exports a PY_FLAVOR variable that contains the current python flavor. It can be used in dependency lines when the port itself is not python flavored. For example, deskutils/calibre. By default, all the flavors are generated. To only generate flavors for the versions in PYTHON2_DEFAULT and PYTHON3_DEFAULT, define BUILD_DEFAULT_PYTHON_FLAVORS in your make.conf. In all the ports with Python dependencies, the *_DEPENDS entries MUST end with the flavor so that the framework knows which to build/use. This is done by appending '@${PY_FLAVOR}' after the origin (or @${FLAVOR} if in a Python module with Python flavors, as the content will be the same). For example: RUN_DEPENDS= ${PYTHON_PKGNAMEPREFIX}six>0:devel/py-six@${PY_FLAVOR} PR: 223071 Reviewed by: portmgr, python Sponsored by: Absolight Differential Revision: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D12464

* Bump PORTREVISION in ports depending on archivers/libzip.rakuco2018-02-043-0/+3
| | | | | | | | libzip was updated to 1.3.0 in r450774, and its SOVERSION went from .4 to .5 after the removal of zip_archive_set_tempdir(). All dependent ports continue to build fine without that symbol. PR: 222638
* Update libzip to 1.3.0.rakuco2018-02-045-41/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | It includes the fix for CVE-2017-14107 (landed separately in r450768) as well as a fix for CVE-2017-12858, which did not affect us due to the fact that the vulnerability was introduced in 1.2.0. libzip.so's SOVERSION got bumped after the removal of the undocumented function zip_archive_set_tempdir(). All ports depending on libzip continue to build fine after that. PR: 222638 Submitted by: Dani <i.dani@outlook.com>

* Blosc is a high performance compressor optimized for binary data.ultima2018-02-045-0/+75
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It has been designed to transmit data to the processor cache faster than the traditional, non-compressed, direct memory fetch approach via a memcpy() OS call. Blosc is the first compressor (that I'm aware of) that is meant not only to reduce the size of large datasets on-disk or in-memory, but also to accelerate memory-bound computations. * Remove dependency on GNU make(1).danfe2017-04-161-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | It turns out that GNU make(1) is only required because their make(1) spells target dependencies as $^ while ours use $>. This change makes the pbzip2's Makefile both GNU and BSD make(1) friendly at the same time. This is required to be able to use `archivers/pbzip2' port as a PKG_DEPEND.
