implied by USES=pkgconfig
- Switch to USES=execinfo, this will use external libexecinfo
from ports only when needed
- Use options helpers
- Remove usage of deprecated MAN1 variable, pkg-plist is handling this anyway

FreeDV is a Digital Voice mode for HF radio. FreeDV allows any SSB radio
to be used for low bit rate digital voice. Speech is compressed down to
700-1600 bit/s then modulated onto a 1.25 kHz wide signal comprised of
16 QPSK carriers which is sent to the Mic input of a SSB radio. The signal
is received by an SSB radio, then demodulated and decoded by FreeDV. FreeDV
700(B) rivals SSB in it's low SNR performance. At high SNRs FreeDV 1600
sounds like FM, with no annoying analog HF radio noise.

Add the required bits to Uses/pyqt.mk along with all the PyQt5 ports.
Thankfully this commit is mostly adding new ports, as the hard work was
already done in r403297 and r403662.
Huge kudos to Tobias Berner <tcberner@gmail.com> and, most importantly,
Guido Falsi (madpilot@) for their initial work on these ports (see D2910 in
Phabricator for an earlier version of the PyQt5 patch set).

optimized for meteor scatter, ionospheric scatter, and EME (moonbounce)
at VHF/UHF, as well as HF skywave propagation. The program can decode
fraction-of-a-second signals reflected from ionized meteor trails and
steady signals 10 dB below the audible threshold.
This version is a non python Qt app.

GraphicsMagick was just updated, but there was as newer, second
PR to upgrade it once more. And again, the shared library version
has been bumped (haven't these guys heard of symbol versioning?)
While the INDEX references 114 users of GraphicksMagick, I'm going to
only bump the same 8 ports as yesterday. The bump script appears to
be obsolete (still uses CVS!)

* bugfix: fixing code that resets tone queue on flushing. A bug
was found on FreeBSD: after pressing Ctrl+C, application that
wanted to stop and delete generator as part of SIGINT handling
procedure, got stuck in cw_tq_flush_internal() function, waiting
for tone queue to go idle. This never happened. Resetting all tone
queue state variables in flush function ensures that the function
completes and returns, and that client application can exit.
2015-09-12 Kamil Ignacak
* xcwcp: the application souce code files are now ported to
Qt5. Build system files have been modified to use Qt5 to build
xcwcp.
Discovery and adding -fPIC to compiler flags for xcwcp is right
now very naive, perhaps that will have to be improved in the
future.

These were FreeBSD specific aliases for libiconv(), libiconv_open() and
libiconv_close() that are now also provided by libc which complicates
writing configure tests that work correctly when both libc iconv and
libiconv are available.
Also, because the libiconv iconv.h header redefines iconv* to libiconv*
correct use of the header implies that the aliases aren't used.
The following ports needed fixes because there was something wrong with
the way they tried to detect or use iconv:
audio/deadbeef: Remove LIBICONV_PLUG from a source file. It's a
compile-time option and should not be set in source code.
comms/hidapi: Use standard AM_ICONV configure macro to look for iconv.
deskutils/fbreader: Let ports framework deal with LIBICONV_PLUG.
deskutils/ljclive: Override configure test for iconv.
deskutils/owncloudclient: Add USES=iconv and patch test for iconv.
devel/aegis: Bump PORTREVISION because it no longer uses libiconv.
devel/libexplain: Add USES=iconv and override test for iconv.
devel/sdl20: Override configure test for iconv.
emulators/vmw: Replace OSVERSION checks with ICONV_LIB checks and include
<iconv.h> instead of <sys/iconv.h>.
irc/scrollz: Override configure test for iconv.
japanese/chasen-base: Override configure test for iconv and patch
configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker flags just because it
happens to be installed.
japanses/eb: Patch configure test for iconv.
japanses/eblook: Override configure test for iconv.
java/jikes: Override configure test for iconv.
multimedia/transcode: Bump PORTREVISION because only one plugin links with
libiconv now.
net/c3270: Override configure test for iconv.
net/samba4*: Bump PORTREVISION because it no longer uses libiconv. The
configure script will always add -liconv to the linker flags when it
happens to be installed which would be wrong but later on binaries are
linked with -Wl,--as-needed and the linker discards -liconv because it
finds iconv*() functions in libc now and no longer in libiconv.
net-mgmt/icinga-*: Remove dependency on iconv.
net-mgmt/netxms: Patch configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker
flags just because it happens to be installed.
net/asterisk11: Patch configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker
flags just because it happens to be installed.
net-p2p/transmission-*: Override configure test for iconv.
www/htmlcxx: Override configure test for iconv.
www/httrack: Override configure test for iconv.
www/xapian-omega: Override configure test for iconv.
x11/mrxvt(-devel): Add USES=iconv and override configure test for iconv.
x11/x3270: Override configure test for iconv.
x11-wm/jwm: Override configure test for iconv.

USE_GCC=yes causes the build to fail on systems where clang and libc++ are
used by default (see bug 202143, for example). This essentially means
comms/gnuradio currently only builds on 9.x. The problem is caused by the
fact that on 10.x and later boost is likely built using clang and libc++,
but USE_GCC=yes forces gnuradio to be built with GCC and libstdc++. Ports
r392951 mentioned USE_GCC=yes was added because "clang's builtins were
conflicting with gnuradio", which does not seem to happen in my tests at least.

This release of Hamlib introduces a change to the version scheme.
Essentially, the leading '1.' characters have been dropped so '3.0' is a
direct follow on from the '1.2.' releases and has been configured to be
ABI compatible with the '1.2.' releases.
Bug fixes to this release will start with '3.0.1' through '3.0.n'.
The next releases will be '3.1' through '3.n' until the next major
release.
Files are hosted at the Hamlib prjoect page at SourceForge.net:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/hamlib/files/hamlib/3.0/
The changes include:
Version 3.0
2015-09-20
* Kill RPC backends and rpc.rigd/rpc.rotd
* Remove -e|--end-marker option from rigctld and rotctld
* Build system updates--remove obsolete macros, autogen.sh now
runs autoreconf to invoke Autotools to bootstrap the build
system, libltdl is installed into the source tree as a part
of the build system bootstrap and is included in the source
tarball, ABI version is set to be compatible with the 1.2
series, all Autotools installed files are copied rather than
symlinked and put in the build-aux directory, building
rigmem and rigmatrix are now user selectable at configure
run time, building static libraries are disabled by default.
Fixed TCL binding installation, fixed Perl binding build so it
is not invoked by 'make dist' and clean up build files. Cleaned
up bindings builds to occur in alphabetical order. Use new
ax_pkg_swig macro and update ax_python_devel macro. Test for
presence of pkg-config before testing for pkg-config use.
* Implement new RIT/XIT activation/deactivation through rig_get/set_func
+()
* IC-PCR1500/2500 default write_delay to 0, IC-746/756, IC-PCR8500
fixes, pcr.c, pcr1500.c: Add DSP support. TNX Paul, KE7ZZ
* WinRadio G313 updates. TNX Julian Campbel
* Readline editing and history support added to rigctl interactive
mode. Implement options for reading and writing history file.
* Readline editing and history support added to rotctl interactive
mode. Implement options for reading and writing history file.
* A new manual draft written in Texinfo added. Both GNU Info and single
HTML files are built and distributed, requires makeinfo.
* Android build system support. See android/README.android. Android
Makefile fragments are included in source tarballs.
* Monolithic library, thanks to Remi Chateauneu for the majority of
the work! This allows enabling of a single static library so
static libs are enabled by default. Removes dependency on libltdl.
* Fixes to easycomm, TNX Steve AI4QR.
* Fixes to port handling allowing PTT and CAT on the same port. TNX
Bill, G4WJS.
* New Peaberry models V1 and V2 added to kit backend. TNX ON8VQ
and R2AEE.
* New IC-7100 model. TNX Martin, CT1IQI.
* Use AC_CHECK_LIB macro to search for libusb rather than rely on
pkg-config. Preserve environment variables LIBUSB_CFLAGS and
LIBUSB_LIBS as user precious variables. Two features,
--with-xml-support and --enable-usrp still rely on pkg-config so
only invoke pkg-config when either or both of these features are
selected. Only the Winradio g313 model uses libdl so test for it
only when Winradio backend is enabled.
* New IC-M700PRO, IC-M710, IC-M802.
* New Icom ID-5100 model.
* New rotor, cnctrk by KI4SBL
* Many backend fixes and updates from many contributors (see Git
log for complete details).

- Move Perl's man1 files along with its man3 files.
- Move where Perl installs its modules man1 pages.
- Convert the ports installing man1 pages.
- Make different Perl versions installable at the same time.
Though you should note that only the default version can be used to
install Perl modules, and the non default Perl versions cannot use the
modules installed via ports if they contain .so as they are installed
in a version specific directory.

instructions) use. Particularly, saying "SSE extensions" is superfluous,
as SSE abbreviation itself means "Streaming SIMD Extensions". Correct
way to refer to particular (CPU-agnostic) technology is "SIMD instruction
set", which is not limited to MMX, SSE family, AVX, NEON, etc.
Since "instruction set" looks a bit too formal in the option description,
use more casual and shorter word "instructions".

* print/ghostscript{7,8,9,9-agpl}-base
Installs Ghostscript binary, libgs, and related files.
These ports do not depend on X11 libraries (i.e. x11* devices
are not available). USES=ghostscript will set dependency on
one of them depending on GHOSTSCRIPT_DEFAULT.
The default device is set to "display" or "bbox".
* print/ghostscript{7,8,9,9-agpl}-x11
Installs a shared library which provides X11 support to
the installed Ghostscript binaries. x11* devices will be
enabled when the library is available.
This depends on *-base (RUN_DEPENDS). USES=ghostscript:x11
will set dependency on one of them.
- Fix integer overflow reported as CVE-2015-3228.
- Update Uses/ghostscript.mk:
* Add x11 keyword. nox11 keyword is now obsolete.
* Use packagename in *_DEPENDS line to prevent relationship between
-base and -x11 packages from being broken.
- Fix x11/nox11 keyword and bump PORTREVISION in ports using
USES=ghostscript to update dependency of pre-compiled packages.

Instead of defining a variable that is almost always based on CONFIGURE_ENV,
just use CONFIGURE_ENV directly.
This also matches the behavior of other ports that do not use autotools (so
most ports can just worry about CONFIGURE_ENV). Additionally, the fact that
we do not use ?= means we do not have problems if another file in Uses/
needs to set CONFIGURE_ENV (with CMAKE_ENV, the order of the arguments to
USES would matter).
Ports which set CMAKE_ENV have been adjusted accordingly. In most cases,
CMAKE_ENV was just replaced with CONFIGURE_ENV, the exceptions being:
* databases/sqliteman: CMAKE_ENV line removed; setting QMAKESPEC there has
no effect on the build system.
* devel/freeocl: CMAKE_ENV line removed; FREEOCL_CXX_COMPILER is already
retrieved from the CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER variable in the build
system.
* graphics/openimageio: CMAKE_ENV line removed; setting Qt variables there
has no effect on the build system.

Makefile
1) Missing dependancy on plibthread.so.1
Java code base
2) Added commandline debug output in multiple Java files
3) Tided comment statements, tabulation and white space to aid reading
of sections of the original source code
4) Added additional debug statements to aid diagnosis in multiple Java
files
5) Moved error logging from Zystem to be local in the RXTXPort.java
file (was never firing from Zystem); now common with rest of codebase
6) Ensured that RXTX only outputs debug level information when
requested.
7) Only enumerate the local ports on initialisation once (use of
init_clean), rather than three times.
8) Updated ports lists to reflect current usage pre FreeBSD v10 and post
v10.
9) Debug identifier inserted before all calls
10) correctly read the properties file when there are multiple java
library paths
11) Enabled the skipping of parrellel ports during scans where they are
not used by the invoking java parent base to RXTX (Still allows them to
be manually specified in gn.io.parellel env arg)
SerialImp.c
12) Tidied code indentation (where needed, it is a medium length file
and doesn't provide benifit on areas that work)
13) Added standard out debug support to allow for assessment of
interaction with Java code that can be compiled in (DEBUG_STDOUT)
14) Added entry and exist debug statement for key functions
15) where sprintf is being used, ensure that the existing ptr refers to
an empty string (uses memset to sizeof)
16) cleared up display tabulation of function headers in entire file (on
second enumeration strings contained garbage)
17) Remove LEAVE and ENTRY functions as not working as expected in
header.
18) Made sure all debug statements are null pointer terminated (note
sprintf is not solely used for debug message formatting)
19) Added condition so that a port that is in use during testread() is
still reported as selectable. (If you attempt to open it after the port
scan and it is still EBUSY the behaviour is unaltered and will throw a
suitable error back)
20) Disabled uucp for lpt ports, as uucp only applies to tty on
FreeBSD (so says the Handbook...)
21) RXTXPort:interruptEventLoop - resolved SIGABRT call to
process (intended to kill off thread not entire JRE)...
22) RXTXPort:interruptEventLoop now waits for timer in child thread to
expire before attempting to closing the thread (delay between 0 and
1000000 sleeps)
23) All debug streams for FreeBSD now forward to same function for
uniform formatting.
This fixes two downstream issues in the arduino port, which results in
missing dependancies, a core dump when uploading, or very slow port
enumeration (up to 30s in some cases) when the arduino IDE is first
started.

In base revision r281198, sockaddr_l2cap structure was changed, and
an #error which fires by default was added as a safety measure to
make sure all structure consumers are updated to initialize new
fields. This port, however, doesn't seem to use this structure, so
it should be safe to just disable the error.

I checked linrad upstream, and they still haven't fixed these two bugs. I am surprised they haven't been reported yet. Without these fixes, linrad cannot be built with gcc5.
the menu.c patch simply reverses the order of the condition. One must check the bounds constraint first! It's a pretty dumb mistake but I've seen this kind before.
The second one fails because -Werror is set. This took me a while because I couldn't figure out the relationship between ADCHANS and rxchan. In any case, setting 4 locations per channel did indeed allow the array to be big enough. (at first I thought the loop was running too high, but I finally determined the array was too small).
These were found on DragonFly that uses gcc5.
This patch has not been tested on FreeBSD but I can't how it could possibly fail.
It would be good if the ham@ maintainer reports the issue upstream.

===============================
Quisk can now transmit a message from a WAV file. Record your message at
a high level (near clipping) at 48 ksps, 16-bit, one channel (monophonic).
Then enter the file name on the Config/Config screen. Press the "File play"
button to transmit. Quisk will press the PTT button for you, and release it
during pauses. To interrupt playback, press PTT or release FilePlay so you can answer.
The "Split" button has been replaced with a "Splt" button and a "Rev" button. The "Splt"
button splits Rx and Tx; and if you click it with the right mouse button instead of the
left, it also locks the Tx frequency so tuning changes the Rx frequency. The "Rev"
button reverses the Tx and Rx frequencies. These features were suggested by Mario, DH5YM.
I added a new parameter mic_agc_level to the config file to control the mic AGC. Input levels
below mic_agc_level are ignored. The default is 0.1. Increase this (up to 1.0) to reduce the
AGC range, and reduce it to increase the AGC mic gain boost.
Philip Lee contributed a patch to the PulseAudio code to set the play buffer size.

When using GH_TAGNAME the DISTNAME would have GH_PROJECT and GH_ACCOUNT in
it. When not using GH_TAGNAME it would not have this. Now both cases
will add in the GH_PROJECT and GH_ACCOUNT.
Add special care to ensure that the DISTVERSION is not added in twice. If
a port does GH_TAGNAME=v${PORTVERSION} it will be added in twice though. For
that case DISTVERSIONPREFIX=v should be set and no GH_TAGNAME should be used.
empty() is used rather than (!defined || !${}) to support fmake.
The purpose of setting DISTNAME at all in these cases is to make it more clear
that the distfile is from *GITHUB* and to avoid collisions if a project were
to be renamed or moved. Without adding in GH_PROJECT and GH_ACCOUNT then there
are real risks that collisions on filenames would happen on renamed or moved
projects, which is fairly common. A GITHUB-generated file may not match
a custom-rolled or git-archive-rolled distfile.

- Remove const qualifier from iconv(3) to match POSIX:
http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/functions/iconv.html
- Patch iconv.h to expose more GNU extensions when LIBICONV_PLUG is
defined because the base system iconv supports these extensions too.
Add/remove patches to/from ports to call iconv with non-const arguments.
This breaks some ports on FreeBSD 10 because base system iconv.h still has
the const qualifier. Fix this by letting USES=iconv add a build dependency
on converters/libiconv so ports can use its iconv.h (with LIBICONV_PLUG
defined) instead of the base system iconv.h.
This exposed some ports that link with libiconv when it is available instead
of using libc iconv. In these cases one of the following changes has been
made:
- patch configure scripts to test for libc iconv first
- add ac_cv_lib_iconv_libiconv=no or similar to CONFIGURE_ARGS to disable
some configure tests
- converters/wkhtmltopdf: this includes Qt4 so add a patch from devel/qt4
- lang/gcc5-aux: respect CFLAGS and friends during configure such that
LIBICONV_PLUG is defined in the iconv test, also switch to external
gettext
- mail/gnarwl: replace patches with CPPFLAGS/LIBS
- multimedia/ffmpeg2theora: remove iconv test from SConstruct and use
ICONV_LIB in port Makefile instead, also fix a bug in subtitles.c
- net-im/licq: finish conversion to cmake
- net-mgmt/bandwidthd, net-mgmt/icinga, net-mgmt/nagios, net-mgmt/nagios4:
don't need iconv
- textproc/p5-XML-TinyXML: finish conversion to USES=perl5
Other changes:
- databases/qdbm and slaves: respect CFLAGS and friends, also enable bzip2
and lzo support
- games/ldmud: respect CFLAGS and friends
- graphics/inventor: replace some patches with MAKE_ARGS/MAKE_ENV to respect
CFLAGS and friends, also remove FreeBSD/alpha patch and add missing xorg
dependencies

released in 2014. The release has only minor changes, but among them
is the ability to link against BDB 5.x instead of being restricted to 4.x.
Since the current port has "WITH_BDB_HIGHEST" set to true, the highest
available is now 5.x, and the 2.0.4 would not work with 5.x, this alone
is reason to update.
I've pinged Carl several times and committing this fix anyway but will

Using this new scheme allows only setting the _tag_ or _commit hash_ in
GH_TAGNAME and not having to know the hash for a tag. This scheme will
download a tarball that has a different checksum than before due to a changed
directory name for extraction.
The following MASTER_SITES are provided to retain the old checksum and
directory structure (that require GH_COMMIT):

GITHUB -> GITHUB_LEGACY

- Remove unnecessary bsd.port.options.mk inclusions
- Remove checks for Perl versions that no longer exist in the ports tree
- Sort plists, some of which were so jumbled that I have to assume

A lot of the plist changes in this commit are moving PERL5_MAN3 after
SITE_PERL. It's repo churn now, but it makes updating the ports later
far easier.

The main features are:
* Robust decoding of weak messages.
* Network support: TCP30003 stream (MSG5...), Raw packets, HTTP.
* Embedded HTTP server that displays the currently detected aircrafts on
Google Map.
* Single bit errors correction using the 24 bit CRC.
* Ability to decode DF11, DF17 messages.
* Ability to decode DF formats like DF0, DF4, DF5, DF16, DF20 and DF21 where the
checksum is xored with the ICAO address by brute forcing the checksum field
using recently seen ICAO addresses.
* Decode raw IQ samples from file (using --ifile command line switch).
* Interactive command-line-interfae mode where aircrafts currently detected are
shown as a list refreshing as more data arrives.
* CPR coordinates decoding and track calculation from velocity.
* TCP server streaming and receiving raw data to/from connected clients.
