(so those who use comms/gammu with WITH_PYTHON_GAMMU option
get the same files and pkg-plists as users of comms/gammu-python);
. compile all python files after installing (not just __init__.py);
. remove PORTREVISION from comms/gammu-python (should be fine to
reflect the one from the master port, and it's bumped
indirectly from 1 to 2);
. do not bump PORTREVISION for comms/gammu since it's default
package s not touched by those changes).

. remove CATEGORIES (it's the same with master port);
. run python script to create gammu/__init__.pyc file;
. bump PORTREVISION.
comms/gammu:
. add gammu/__init__.pyc to pkg-plist (when WITH_PYTHON_GAMMU
is defined, i.e. for comms/gammu-python port).

The driver have been tested with the following devices
* Option GlobeSurfer iCON 7.2 (2.4.6Hd firmware)
* Option GlobeSurfer iCON 225
* Option iCON 505
Older cards should work just fine with ubsa(4) or any similar
USB-over-serial driver.
Note that this driver should be considered beta and will
work with FreeBSD 8.0 (with USB2) or superior only.
Please use comms/hso-kmod for previous versions of FreeBSD.

confusion on the part of users looking for support. As a pleasant

This bug was triggered as a side effect of: "revision 1.34 of Mk/bsd.gcc.mk
date: 2009/09/26 01:02:01; author: gerald; state: Exp; lines: +3 -1
Have CFLAGS and LDFLAGS set an -rpath to the lang/gcc44 library directory "
The actual problem is in f2py from py-numpy which is not recognising
-Wl,rpath=... as a loader option and should be fixed in f2py.

propogated by copy and paste.
1. Primarily the "empty variable" default assignment, which is mostly
${name}_flags="", but fix a few others as well.
2. Where they are not already documented, add the existence of the _flags
(or other deleted empties) option to the comments, and in some cases add
comments from scratch.
3. Replace things that look like:
prefix=%%PREFIX%%
command=${prefix}/sbin/foo
to just use %%PREFIX%%. In many cases the $prefix variable is only used
once, and in some cases it is not used at all.
4. In a few cases remove ${name}_flags from command_args
5. Remove a long-stale comment about putting the port's rc.d script in
/etc/rc.d (which is no longer necessary).
No PORTREVISION bumps because all of these changes are noops.

http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.26/ for a list of what's new.
On the FreeBSD front, we introduced a port of libxul 1.9 as an alternative
for Firefox 2.0 as a Gecko provider. Almost all of the Gecko consumers
can make use of this provider by setting:
WITH_GECKO=libxul
The GNOME 2.26 port was done by ahze, kwm, marcus, and mezz with
contributions by Joseph S. Atkinson, Peter Wemm, Eric L. Chen,
Martin Matuska, Craig Butler, and Pawel Worach.

- WITH_SLANG implies devel/libslang2 now

so bump PORTREVISION for affected ports

- some SF macro conversions
