ffi-compiler is a ruby library for automating compilation of native libraries
for use with ffi. To use, define your own ruby->native API using ffi, implement

Key changes:
- Change the auxiliary schema by adding columns MLINK.ISAUX and MLINK.PMID
columns to the schema, to support better drawing of file change graphs. A
fossil rebuild is recommended but is not required. so that the new graph
drawing logic can work effectively.
- Added search over Check-in comments, Documents, Tickets and Wiki. Disabled by
default. The search can be either a full-scan or it can use an index that is
kept up-to-date automatically. The new /srchsetup web-page and the fts-config
command were added to help configure the search capability. Expect further
enhancements to the search capabilities in subsequent releases.
- Added form elements to some submenus (in particular the /timeline) for easier
operation.
- Added the --ifneeded option to fossil rebuild.
- Added "override skins" using the "skin:" line of the CGI script or using the
--skin LABEL option on the server, ui, or http commands.
- Embedded html documents that begin with <doc class="fossil-doc"> are
displayed with standard headers and footers added.
- Allow <div style='...'> markup in wiki.
- Renamed "Events" to "Technical Notes", while updating the technote display
and control pages. Add support for technotes as plain text or as Markdown.
- Added the /md_rules pages containing summary instructions on the Markdown
format.
- Added the --repolist and --nojail options to the various server commands (ex:
fossil server).
- Added the fossil all add subcommand to "fossil all".
- Improvements to the /login page. Some hyperlinks to pages that require
"anonymous" privileges are displayed even if the current user is "nobody" but
automatically redirect to /login.
- The /doc web-page will now try to deliver the file "404.md" from the
top-level directory (if such a file exists) in place of its built-in 404
text.
- Download of Tarballs and ZIP Archives by user "nobody" is now enabled by
default in new repositories.
- Enhancements to the table sorting controls. More display tables are now
sortable.
- Add IPv6 support to fossil sync and fossil clone
- Add more skins such as "San Francisco Modern" and "Eagle". The "San Francisco
Modern" look has been adopted as the new default for Fossil itself.
- During shutdown, check to see if the check-out database (".fslckout")
contains a lot of free space, and if it does, VACUUM it.
- Added the /mimetype_list page.
- Added the /hash-collisions page.
- Allow the user of Common Table Expressions in the SQL that defaults ticket
reports.
- Break out the components (css, footer, and header) for the various built-in
skins into separate files in the source tree.

According to the commit log, these patches were supposed to use
<istream.h> for gcc version less than 3.2 (namely GCC 2.95). The
logic is flawed. It doesn't work for gcc 3.2 or greater. There must
have been a compatibility header in gcc 4 that masked the error. GCC5
doesn't have one so it broke.
The logic is __GNU__ < 3 || __GNUC_MINOR__ < 2
it was intended to be __GNU__ < 3 || (__GNU__ == 3 && __GNU_MINOR__ < 2)
However, there is no point in fixing these patches. These ancient
GCCs aren't available on currently supported FreeBSD releases.

service_identity is an optional dependency that hasn't yet been added
to setup.py upstream as an extras_require [1]
Create a VERIFY option to make the dependency optional, as it adds
a decent number [~9] of subsequent dependencies that aren't needed
in most cases.
Set the VERIFY option to be a OPTIONS_DEFAULT *for now* since a few
consumers (and their ports) bail out with an error if its not installed
(deluge) [2].
For these cases, the port should instead depend on service_identity
directly, as in www/calendarserver.

The ptlib port has a bug in a macro condition. The condition wants
to include a different c++ header if GCC 4.1 or below is used. Since
this compiler doesn't exist in ports and is ancient, I'm just going
to remove the check rather than fix it. This change fixes the build
for the upcoming gcc-5 release.

PT_GETXSTATE_INFO and XSTATE core dump sections.
- Use kern.proc.sigtramp on i386 to fix unwinding across signal
frames.
- Change the amd64 FreeBSD ABI to return an i386 target description
when debugging a 32-bit process. This allows XSAVE debugging to
work for an i386 binary on amd64.
- Rework thread patches to pull all threads-related patches out of
the main port patches and into a single optional patch.
- Adjust the thread patches so that fbsd-threads.c passes register
requests for LWPs down to the native target instead of calling
ptrace directly. This allows XSAVE to work with threads without
any other changes. The x86 nat.c files now pass LWP IDs to
ptrace register operations (other platforms already did this).
The supply/collect regset stubs are now only needed to support
userland threads for libkse.

Log::Dispatch::FileWriteRotate functions similarly to Log::Dispatch::FileRotate,
but uses File::Write::Rotate as backend, thus interoperates more easily with
other modules which use File::Write::Rotate as backend, e.g.

Due to touch switching to nano precision in the timestamp, not all the
files that where touched in the post-configure step ended up with the
same timestamp. The result is that the build system tried to
rerun autotools in the build stage.
Add makeinfo to USES to fix the build on CURRENT, persumely due the above
change but I'm not sure..
