Skulltag brings classic Doom into the 21st century, maintaining the
essence of what has made Doom great for so many years and, at the
same time, adding new features to modernize it, creating a fresh,
fun new experience.
Here's why you should kill your time with Skulltag, versus vanilla
Doom:
* Excellent online play
o Client/server architecture: play and switch between games with ease
o Supports up to 32 players
o Wide array of gameplay modes
+ Competitive: Team DM, Duel, CTF, Possession, LMS,
Terminator, Skulltag
+ Cooperative: Survival, Invasion (or both!)
+ Modifiers, like Instagib and Buckshot, can be used
to spice up any game.
* Modern and beautiful
o Choose between GZDoom's OpenGL renderer, or Doom Software
o Useful features like a console, Quake-style key bindings,
freelooking, and jumping
o Full, enthusiastic support for ZDoom and GZDoom mods
o Support for Heretic, Hexen, and Strife, as well as Linux/FreeBSD
* Innovative new content
o Announcers and skins for online play
o Runes, new weapons, and new monsters for modders
o 50 new, well designed stock maps for any game mode
o Bots, and support for custom bots
* So much more!

- Add --no-same-permissions to the EXTRACT_AFTER_ARGS command.
Tijl Coosemans has been reported an issue that when root is extracting from the
tarball, and the tarball contains world writable files
(sysutils/policykit as an example), there is a chance that the files
gets changed by malicious third parties right after the extraction,
which makes it possible to inject code into the package thus compromise
the system.

e-mail addresses from the pkg-descr file that could reasonably
be mistaken for maintainer contact information in order to avoid
confusion on the part of users looking for support. As a pleasant
side effect this also avoids confusion and/or frustration for people
who are no longer maintaining those ports.

release can be found at http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.28/ .
Officially, this is mostly a polishing release in preparation for GNOME 3.0
due in about a year.
On the FreeBSD front, though, a lot went into this release. Major thanks
goes to kwm and avl who did a lot of the porting work for this release.
In particular, kwm brought in Evolution MAPI support for better Microsoft
Exchange integration. Avl made sure that the new gobject introspection
repository ports were nicely compartmentalized so that large dependencies
aren't brought in wholesale.
But, every GNOME team member (ahze, avl, bland, kwm, mezz, and myself)
contributed to this release.
Other major improvements include an updated HAL with better volume
probing code, ufsid integration, and support for volume names containing
spaces (big thanks to J.R. Oldroyd); a new WebKit; updated AbiWord;
an updated Gimp; and a preview of the new GNOME Shell project (thanks to
Pawel Worach).
The FreeBSD GNOME Team would like to that the following additional
contributors to this release whose patches and testing really helped
make it a success:
Andrius Morkunas
Dominique Goncalves
Eric L. Chen
J.R. Oldroyd
Joseph S. Atkinson
Li
Pawel Worach
Romain Tartière
Thomas Vogt
Yasuda Keisuke
Rui Paulo
Martin Wilke
(and an extra shout out to miwi and pav for pointyhat runs)
We would like to send this release out to Alexander Loginov (avl) in
hopes that he feels better soon.

game. It is similiar in construction to many "Tower Defence" games,
but it has a twist: here, you are part of the action and can affect
the game in many different ways more than just building structures.
Bandits are trying to rob your train and steal all precious cargo!
Thankfully, you are a skilled engineer who can construct many
different kinds of turrets and use them to defend your train. You
have to make it through 20 waves of relentless enemy assault before
you reach your destination, so plan ahead and devise a smart strategy
and you may survive!

struggle with hordes of monsters. For this purpose the various
weapon, and also the special abilities of the heroine which are
opening with experience can be used. In game there are elements of
RPG in the form of strength-agility-vitality and derivatives. Also
there is an unique feature: dynamic change of day and night.

there is a knob (DP_LINK_TO_LIBJPEG) to disable offending code automatically.
This allows to link against system-provided libjpeg, whether it is jpeg62 or
jpeg7. That way it will continue to work, even if e.g. a new libjpeg71 with
incompatible ABI comes out.

game fun more than we want to make it realistic. You can play with
up to 4 friends on one PC racing against each other, or just try
to beat the computer.
See the great lighthouse or drive through the sand and visit the
pyramids. Race under water or in space, watching the stars passing
by. Have some rest under the palms on the beach (watching the other
karts overtaking you :) ). But don't fall in the volcano.
You can do a single race against other karts, compete in one of
several Grand Prix, or try to beat the high score in time trials
on your own.
