* net-p2p/deluge: split out CLI partrm2016-10-2710-64/+84
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | By popular demand split out deluge onto CLI part and GUI part to let users with headless servers or users who do not want to install all the GTK2 stuff install just deluge with minimal required dependencies. deluge-cli port was introduced, that let user to run in CLI mode and to control the queue via web-interface. This change requires all the users of net-p2p/deluge to deinstall it first and then install the required part: - net-p2p/deluge-cli if GTK2 GUI is not required - net-p2p/deluge to get the graphical client (net-p2p/deluge-cli will be installed as a dependency) Requested by: many

* Let USES=localbase add -L${LOCALBASE}/lib to LIBS instead of LDFLAGS.tijl2016-10-013-12/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | USES=localbase:ldflags can be used to set LDFLAGS. Normally LDFLAGS appears too early on the command line causing some ports to link with their own libraries in LOCALBASE (if installed) instead of WRKSRC. Also make use of _USES_POST so -L${LOCALBASE}/lib is added as late as possible after anything a port Makefile might set. Use _USES_POST instead of .include in libedit.mk and libarchive.mk so things like 'USES=libedit localbase:ldflags' work correctly. Fix some issues with LIBS in some ports. Switch ports that don't support LIBS to localbase:ldflags. PR: 212987 Exp-run by: antoine Approved by: portmgr (antoine)

* - Update devel/icu to 57.1.tijl2016-09-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Clean up the Makefile. - Follow some upstream recommendations (--with-data-packaging=archive, --disable-renaming, -DICU_NO_USER_DATA_OVERRIDE). - Patch makefiles to install static libraries with INSTALL_DATA so they aren't stripped. - Patch config/mh-bsd-gcc to sync with config/mh-linux-gcc. - Fix endianness detection in ICU. The code wanted to use BYTE_ORDER defined in machine/endian.h, but this isn't visible because ICU is compiled with _XOPEN_SOURCE. Patch the code to use _BYTE_ORDER instead. - Compile ICU with C++11 compiler to enable move constructors. - Patch ICU to fix a problem with atomics in the case of a C++11 compiler without C++11 header <atomic> (like Clang on FreeBSD 9). - Bump all ports that depend on it due to library version change. - Add USES=compiler:c++0x to some ports that pick up -std=c++0x from ICU pkgconfig files. - Add USES=compiler:c++11-lib to graphics/libcdr01 because it also needs a C++11 runtime library now. Add this to all ports that depend on it so their executables load the right libstdc++.so on FreeBSD 9. PR: 205120 Exp-run by: antoine Approved by: portmgr (antoine)

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | hide actual commands executed and only show short summary line (like "CC foo.c"). CMake and ninja enable this by default, some autotools using ports do as well. This is unacceptable because we need complete build logs at any time, so we now switch to verbose build logs unconditionally. Note that this change deliberately affects ALL builds and not only package builds on cluster, because we need to be sure that user experiencing failure can always provide informative build log regardless of settings and without rerunning the build. Change summary: - Always do verbose builds for cmake, ninja and GNU configure (the latter includes check if --disable-silent-rules is actually supported by the configure script; there are isolated cases when it's not true) - Remove CMAKE_VERBOSE, NINJA_VERBOSE and CONFIGURE_ARGS=--disable-silent-rules from all ports which set them for this is no longer needed - Revert hacks for --disable-silent-rules support priorly committed to biology/ncbi-blast+ and net-p2p/mldonkey - no longer needed as well Submitted by: amdmi3 Reviewed by: mat Exp-run by: antoine Approved by: portmgr (mat, antoine) Differential Revision: D7534

* Replace Mk/bsd.kde4.mk by Mk/Uses/kde.mk in preparation for KDE Frameworks andtcberner2016-08-246-27/+29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Plasma5 ports At the moment KDE ports use bsd.kde4.mk to handle their dependencies. When working on the ports for KDE Frameworks and Plasma5 it seemed to be more reasonable to create a new kde.mk instead of adding an bsd.kde5.mk. The kde.mk in this review is a stripped down version of the one we are using in the KDE Test repositories plasma5 branch [1] to only contain the parts relevant to the current KDE4 ports in the portstree [2]. Changes to the KDE Ports needed by this: Replace USE_KDE4 by USE_KDE [3] Add USES=kde:4 [4] [1] http://src.mouf.net/area51/view/branches/plasma5/KDE/Mk/Uses/kde.mk [2] The version in the plasma5 branch also handles frameworks/plasma5 and handles MASTER_SITES via a KDE_DIST variable similar to bsd.qt.mk for Qt Ports -- I chose to leave this out for now, as the diff is already large enough. [3] I chose USE_KDE instead of USE_KDE4, USE_KDE5, USE_KDEX as the version we want is already specified as argument to kde:<arg> [4] For KDE Frameworks and Plasma5 ports this would be kde:5 PR: 210667 Approved by: portmgr, mat (mentor), rakuco (mentor) Reviewed by: mat, rakuco Differential Revision: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D6961

* qt4-moc: Add more Boost include guards to moc's definition list.rakuco2016-03-243-40/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | In preparation for updating Boost to 1.60, add include guards from more Boost headers to the list of macros that moc automatically defines when processing files. As explained in r408911, Qt4's moc cannot parse some constructs used by a few Boost headers, so we define their include guards to make moc skip them. This is a cleaner approach that allows us to largely revert r408472, r408473, r408474, r408475, r408502, r408773 and r408419, which added several patches to many ports to work around this moc bug. * Change header installation location for kdelibs4-based ports.rakuco2016-03-152-186/+186
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Install x11/kdelibs4's headers into include/kde4 instead of include (which consequently causes several other ports to have their installation paths changed too). The idea behind this is to reduce path conflicts between KDE4 ports and the upcoming KDE Frameworks 5 ports that will be installed into include/KF5. If we continue installing the KDE4 headers into include/, we can end up in a situation like this: c++ [...] -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/KF5 file.cpp If the KDE4 and KF5 versions of a port have the same headers, the KDE4 port will unintentionally be picked up first and the build will fail. Most of this huge patch is just PORTREVISION bumps, pkg-plist changes and a few patches to FooConfig.cmake files to make them look into the kde4/ subdirectory in include/. Changes which don't fit into the above are: - deskutils/kdepimlibs4: Import an upstream patch to remove some double semicolons that cause base GCC to fail. They have always been present, but since the faulty header was referenced via -isystem /usr/local/include this never caused any problems. - devel/subversion, devel/subversion18: Update patch-configure. The current kwallet changes there date back to 2011 (r272490), at a time when the build could fail when both KDE3 and KDE4 were installed. Replace those bits with a change I've submitted upstream to use the kde4-config program to determine where KDE4's headers and libraries are installed instead of assuming the headers are always in include/. Once again, huge thanks to Tobias Berner <tcberner@gmail.com> for being the first one to notice this problem when working on the KDE Frameworks 5 ports, coming up with the solution and bugging me until I had time to work on this and ask for the exp-run :-) PR: 207906 (exp-run)

* Remove iconv(), iconv_open() and iconv_close() symbols from libiconv.tijl2015-10-101-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These were FreeBSD specific aliases for libiconv(), libiconv_open() and libiconv_close() that are now also provided by libc which complicates writing configure tests that work correctly when both libc iconv and libiconv are available. Also, because the libiconv iconv.h header redefines iconv* to libiconv* correct use of the header implies that the aliases aren't used. The following ports needed fixes because there was something wrong with the way they tried to detect or use iconv: audio/deadbeef: Remove LIBICONV_PLUG from a source file. It's a compile-time option and should not be set in source code. comms/hidapi: Use standard AM_ICONV configure macro to look for iconv. deskutils/fbreader: Let ports framework deal with LIBICONV_PLUG. deskutils/ljclive: Override configure test for iconv. deskutils/owncloudclient: Add USES=iconv and patch test for iconv. devel/aegis: Bump PORTREVISION because it no longer uses libiconv. devel/libexplain: Add USES=iconv and override test for iconv. devel/sdl20: Override configure test for iconv. emulators/vmw: Replace OSVERSION checks with ICONV_LIB checks and include <iconv.h> instead of <sys/iconv.h>. irc/scrollz: Override configure test for iconv. japanese/chasen-base: Override configure test for iconv and patch configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker flags just because it happens to be installed. japanses/eb: Patch configure test for iconv. japanses/eblook: Override configure test for iconv. java/jikes: Override configure test for iconv. multimedia/transcode: Bump PORTREVISION because only one plugin links with libiconv now. net/c3270: Override configure test for iconv. net/samba4*: Bump PORTREVISION because it no longer uses libiconv. The configure script will always add -liconv to the linker flags when it happens to be installed which would be wrong but later on binaries are linked with -Wl,--as-needed and the linker discards -liconv because it finds iconv*() functions in libc now and no longer in libiconv. net-mgmt/icinga-*: Remove dependency on iconv. net-mgmt/netxms: Patch configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker flags just because it happens to be installed. net/asterisk11: Patch configure so it no longer adds -liconv to linker flags just because it happens to be installed. net-p2p/transmission-*: Override configure test for iconv. www/htmlcxx: Override configure test for iconv. www/httrack: Override configure test for iconv. www/xapian-omega: Override configure test for iconv. x11/mrxvt(-devel): Add USES=iconv and override configure test for iconv. x11/x3270: Override configure test for iconv. x11-wm/jwm: Override configure test for iconv. | | | | | | | | | This port is runtime broken. btqueue scheduler starts successfully, and it allows to add some torrents into the queue, but it just doesn't download anything. While the same torrents were successfully fetched with deluge. Tools like btshowmetainfo and btmakemetafile are working, but we have analogs in the ports tree. The port is unmaintained and latest release is from 2006, so mark it broken and deprecated, set expiration date to 2015-08-01.
