1. If update.sh failed to determine the PREFIX, it didn't realize it
had failed. This is arguably caused by a shell bug in processing
the statement
export PREFIX=$(expr $0 : "\(/.*\)/etc/cvsup/update\.sh\$")
This statement always succeeds even if the "expr" command fails.
Moving the "export" to a separate statement makes it work.
2. If the system had no "/home" directory, the pkg-install script
would create it with mode 0700, making ~cvsupin inaccessible to its
owner. A user ran into this bug when installing cvsup-mirror into a
jail.

Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6) developed by the KAME
project.
The implementation mainly conforms to the following standards:
- RFC3315: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6)
- RFC3319: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCPv6) Options
for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Servers
- RFC3633: IPv6 Prefix Options for Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP)
- RFC3646: DNS Configuration options for Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6)
Note that the current implementation does not support IPv6 address
allocation by DHCPv6, and there is no plan to implement that feature
at the moment. The main purpose of this implementation is to provide
a way of IPv6 prefix delegation (RFC3633) and to provide some
"stateless" configuration information such as DNS recursive server
addresses.

ldapsh is an interactive shell you can use to administer ldap
directories. It provides an extensible command mechanism, with
most of the necessary builtin commands (such as 'clone', 'edit',
'rm'), and it's relatively easy to add more commands.
It supports configuring multiple LDAP sources, and storing your
UID for each source so you don't have to type them each time.

This version has some fixes for FreeBSD, you shouldn't need to
apply a kernel patch to use it.
- Let 'make' transform the version number for the distfile.
- It's for i386 only (needs to be revisited if the 32bit layer of amd64
gains a linux emu). [1]
- Install an icon to the correct place in the GNOME case.
This also closes a PR with a version update.

and make XFREE86_VERSION map to it. XFREE86_VERSION is now deprecated.
- Make xorg the default X_WINDOW_SYSTEM on -current.
- Add several new X_*_PORT variables which point to various pieces of X11 based
on the setting of X_WINDOW_SYSTEM, and make ports use them.
- Add information to CHANGES about how to handle the transition.

- New configuration options: allow workgroups/deny workgroups.
When samba is a local master on subnet these options allow
you to restrict list of available workgroup names in "Network
Neighbourhood". Options accept a list of names.
- New configuration options: allow master/deny masters.
When samba is running as a WINS server these options allow
you to restrict registering of particular IP addresses as
group masters. Options accept same arguments as "allow hosts".
- New configuration option: workgroups.
This allows you to be a member (and thus a master browser!) of
multiple workgroups.
- New configuration option: force local master.
Allows to ignore Windows NT PDC attempts to claim master
browser name on subnet. This is violation of standard, but is
useful.
- All registered NetBIOS names must be isprint().
Do not bump PORTREVISION, because new features show up
only if WITH_BROWSING_HACKS is defined in compile-time.

has (probably had, now) a platform-specific bug,
which was resolved in conjunction with the socat author earlier. The problem will be corrected in socat 1.4.0.1, but in the
meantime is provided separately. This patch adds the fix as a replacement xio-socks.c.
I have also set myself as the maintainer as part of the patch below. I am willing to take on maintainership of this port.

as expected).

The ntpd daemon implements the Simple Network Time Protocol version 4 as
described in RFC 2030 and the Network Time Protocol version 3 as de-
scribed in RFC 1305. It can synchronize the local clock to one or more
remote NTP servers and act as NTP server itself, redistributing the local
time.

encryption. It runs on Unix-like operating systems and on Microsoft
Win32. sbd features AES-CBC-128 + HMAC-SHA1 encryption (by Christophe
Devine), program execution (-e option), choosing source port, continuous
reconnection with delay, and some other nice features. Only TCP/IP
communication is supported. Source code and binaries are distributed
under the GNU General Public License.
sbd can be used for any number of network-related things, e.g.:
* Secure file transfer
* Remote administration
* Simple (but secure) peer-to-peer chat
* Pen-test tool (crypto avoids NIDS detection and telnet-style traffic
recording)

the libtoolX ports instead of the one included with each port. Ports that
set USE_LIBTOOL_VER=X will now use the ports version of libtool instead of
the included version. To restore previous behavior, use the new macro,
USE_INC_LIBTOOL_VER. Both macros accept the same argument: a libtool version.
For example, to use the ports version of libtool-1.5, add the following to
your Makefile:
USE_LIBTOOL_VER= 15
To use the included version of libtool with extra hacks provided by
libtool-1.5, add the following to your Makefile:
USE_INC_LIBTOOL_VER= 15
With this change, ports that had to add additional libtool hacks to prevent
.la files from being installed or to fix certain threading issues can now
delete those hacks (after appropriate testing, of course).

Author fixed are following problems:
1) threading issue causing pthread_create() errors under Linux after
number of requests and memory leaks on different Unix platforms.
2) deadlock in gethostbyname() mutex, HTTP CONNECT redirection.
Grab maintainership because author can't contact with
maintainer 3-4 monthes.
