We have not checked for this KEYWORD for a long time now, so this
is a complete noop, and thus no PORTREVISION bump. Removing it at
this point is mostly for pedantic reasons, and partly to avoid
perpetuating this anachronism by copy and paste to future scripts.

EMACS ports. [1]
- Allow building a port as root using an NFS-mounted /usr/ports if the
server maps root to a UID other than root. [2]
- Make 'BROKEN' and 'IGNORED' ports exit their "make install" with a fail
status rather than success. [3]
- Improve behavior when dealing with versioned dependencies. [4]
- Fix false positives in check-conflicts target. [5]
- Remove obsolete bzip2 code. [6]
- Add physical category net-p2p. [7]
- Don't fetch INDEXFILE if not necessary; respect FETCH_ENV. [8], [11]
- INDEX can now be moved outside of ports tree. [9]
- Add ghostscript-gpl. [10]
- Remove obsolete USE_MESA. [12]
- Force pkg_install tools from ports on FreeBSD 4.10 and older. [13]
- Document ALWAYS_KEEP_DISTFILES. [14]
- Remove USE_REINPLACE from bsd.port.mk USE_DOS2UNIX patch. [15]

It would be better to replace the SUB_FILES line in the
Makefile with:
USE_RC_SUBR= ${PORTNAME}.sh
This provides several benefits in the short term. It would
obviate the need for the post-install target and the pkg-plist
entry, as the USE_RC_SUBR macro handles that stuff (as well
as the SUB_FILES stuff) for you automatically. In the long
term, we're going to add even more support for good things
in the USE_RC_SUBR code, so it's a good idea to move that
direction now.

in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.
Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.
Preliminary documentation can be found at:
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt
which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.

automatically by hellanzb.

DRI drivers are incompatible with the old libGL in XFree86, they have been
repocopied to graphics/xfree86-dri. Also note that with this commit the html
manpages are going away, and with it the runtime dependency on perl for the

and make XFREE86_VERSION map to it. XFREE86_VERSION is now deprecated.
- Make xorg the default X_WINDOW_SYSTEM on -current.
- Add several new X_*_PORT variables which point to various pieces of X11 based
on the setting of X_WINDOW_SYSTEM, and make ports use them.
- Add information to CHANGES about how to handle the transition.

It is intened to supply spool and offline news reading for a
configured selection of newsgroups. S-news does the minimum
required to maintain a conventional news spool and makes use
of suck or newsstar for news transport.

multiple processes or "threads" to maximise bandwidth utilisation. The threads
are coordinated to avoid downloading multiple copies of the same article.

NNTPSwitch is a NNTP content router. It's aimed at high-performance
news servers for ISPs and Usenet resellers. NNTPSwitch forwards client
connections to multiple backend servers to get its actual articles.
Depending on the backend server type, all NNTP commands and extensions
are supported, including (remote) authorization. Accounting is supported
in a user-friendly matter for data limited NNTP connections.

Begin autotools sanitization sequence by requiring ports to explicitly
specify which version of {libtool,autoconf,automake} they need, erasing
the concept of a "system default".
For ports-in-waiting:
USE_LIBTOOL=YES -> USE_LIBTOOL_VER=13
USE_AUTOCONF=YES -> USE_AUTOCONF_VER=213
USE_AUTOMAKE=YES -> USE_AUTOMAKE_VER=14
Ports attempting to use the old style system after June 1st 2004 will be
sorely disappointed.
