| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove patch to add -I/usr/local/include in freetype-config --cflags. If ports need extra headers they should look for them, and not get them via a side-effect. Freetype had a header resuffle in 2.5.1, patch ports to use the new header style. Thanks go to bdrewery for the two exp-runs and rakuco for helping me with some troublesome cmake ports. * Updated port to pdftk-2.02mat2013-11-295-132/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Changes: - Removed LOCAL master site, no distfile there obviously - Moved USE_ZIP after BUILD_DEPENDS due to portlint warning - Added LICENSE due to portlint warning - Added LIB_DEPENDS. Libraries provided by gcc required to run the binary, but gcc is registered only as build dependency. Removing the gcc after installation of pdftk is permitted but breaks pdftk - The port doesn't install any shared libraries, so there's no point in USE_LDCONFIG - Changed PLIST_FILES and removed MAN1 to support staging - Removed ancient comment (mentioned gcc and FreeBSD versions are deprecated long ago) - Prepended STAGEDIR before PREFIX to support staging - Corrected patch-pdftk__Makefile.Base to support new version - REMOVED FILE file/patch-pdftk__Makefile.FreeBSD (is now provided by upstream) - REMOVED FILE file/patch-java__Makefile (patch included by upstream) maintainer timeout. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Switched to automake 1.11.6, see CVE-2012-3386. - #14669: Fixed extraction of CC from gmp.h. - Fixed case of intermediate zero real or imaginary part in mpc_fma, found by hydra with GMP_CHECK_RANDOMIZE=1346362345. This is on top of the following changes from version 1.0 - Licence change towards LGPLv3+ for the code and GFDLv1.3+ (with no invariant sections) for the documentation. - 100% of all lines are covered by tests - Renamed functions . mpc_mul_2exp to mpc_mul_2ui . mpc_div_2exp to mpc_div_2ui - 0^0, which returned (NaN,NaN) previously, now returns (1,+0). - Removed compatibility with K&R compilers, which was untestable due to lack of such compilers. - New functions . mpc_log10 . mpc_mul_2si, mpc_div_2si - Speed-ups . mpc_fma - Bug fixes . mpc_div and mpc_norm now return a value indicating the effective rounding direction, as the other functions. . mpc_mul, mpc_sqr and mpc_norm now return correct results even if there are over- or underflows during the computation. . mpc_asin, mpc_proj, mpc_sqr: Wrong result when input variable has infinite part and equals output variable is corrected. . mpc_fr_sub: Wrong return value for imaginary part is corrected. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | on FreeBSD 10, and amd64 on earlier versions. SSP_UNSAFE is added to disable in a port if it fails to build, but this should only be used in rare circumstances such as kernel modules. Otherwise, the port may just be failing due to lack of respecting LDFLAGS. On FreeBSD 10, this uses an ldscript in /usr/lib/libc.so to pull in libssp_nonshared.a to address issues linking on i386 [1]. On earlier FreeBSD versions the WITH_SSP knob will add -lssp_nonshared to LDFLAGS on i386. This is not needed on amd64. However, several hundred ports do not currently respect LDFLAGS, so this support is disabled currently as it causes build failures if a dependency is looking for the stack_chk symbols. Many thanks to jlh@ for this as he had many years of patience in getting all of the necessary pieces [1][2] in. * Two imake related changes:tijl2013-09-021-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 1) Move -a from XMKMF command variable to a new XMKMF_ARGS variable. For ports that don't need -a introduce USES=imake:notall. This way ports no longer have to redefine XMKMF. 2) xmkmf -a runs imake with the flags in IMAKECPPFLAGS as extra arguments to set CPP, CC and CXX. This creates the top Makefile, and then xmkmf runs make Makefiles. This Makefiles target runs imake for each subdirectory but these imake invocations did not have the flags from IMAKECPPFLAGS so the resulting makefiles used the wrong C preprocessor when clang is used (/usr/bin/cpp instead of /usr/local/bin/tradcpp). Instead of letting xmkmf pass IMAKECPPFLAGS from the environment to imake let imake handle IMAKECPPFLAGS itself just like it handles IMAKEINCLUDE. This exposed configure errors in x11-clocks/mouseclock and x11-wm/fvwm. Approved by: portmgr (bapt)

* Replace USE_GCC=4.6+ and USE_GCC=4.4+ by USE_GCC=yes.gerald2013-08-181-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Right now this is a noop in the former case and a noop in the latter case unless lang/gcc44 has been installed explicitly. This puts a bit more emphasis on standardizing on a canonical version "current" GCC and makes it easier to update that canonical version by changing the default in Mk/bsd.gcc.mk and updating the lang/gcc port. That is, USE_GCC=yes means "use a decent/modern version of GCC" without having to worry about details. Approved by: portmgr (bdrewery)

* Update the KDE Software Compilation to 4.10.5.rakuco2013-07-051-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Proudly brought to you by the KDE on FreeBSD team. We're sorry to ship two KDE updates in just a few days, but the work on 4.10.5 was very light compared to 4.10.4 so it was ready much faster. The release announcement can be found in [1]. [1] http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.10.5.php The biggest news for us on FreeBSD is that the Ruby bindings should work with Ruby 1.9 now. I will probably add a note to UPDATING later about this, but as avilla@ pointed out, the clang support we mentioned that was improved in 4.10.4 requires a rebuild of the ports that depend on kdelibs4. Most of them are covered by this update, but those which are not part of the Software Compilation need to be rebuilt manually to make sure the previous issues (proper symbol visibility being the most annoying of them) are solved.
* Update to KDE SC 4.10.4, proudly presented by the KDE on FreeBSD team.rakuco2013-07-032-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With commits from avilla@, makc@, rakuco@ and Schaich Alonso. The upstream announcement can be found in [1]. [1] http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.10.4.php clang support should be more stable now, with clang being recognized by kdelibs4 and being passed the correct flags to build other ports. Additionally, all ports being committed have been verified to build with -CURRENT's clang 3.3 on an amd64 tinderbox (special thanks go to swills@ for providing it). Work on the newly-released 4.10.5 will begin shortly.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This uses accept 'env' as an argument for ports that do use their own or a different do-configure target. Modify xmkmf so it accept IMAKECPPFLAGS as default flags for imake and pass it to the called imake. Modify xorg-cf-files (the FreeBSD.cf configuration file) to allow CppCmd to be overwritten. Pass CppCmd CcCmd and CplusplusCmd via command line to each call of imake via IMAKECPPFLAGS Pass IMAKE_DEFINE with the above arguments to MAKE_ARGS so that imake spawned from Makefile generated by a previous imake also inherit the defined CppCmd CcCmd and CplusplusCmd. Make imake use devel/tradcpp all the time, so that when buidling with clang we do not depend on gcc's cpp. Make imake respect CC and CXX Make imake respect USE_GCC (if set imake will use gcc's cpp). While here: - Remove a couple of indefinite articles from comments - Trim headers - Fix a couple of ports to build with clang or use: USE_GCC=any - Fix a now useless redefinition of the extraction chain - Fix a typo in japanese/Wnn7-lib bundled imake template definitions - Fix some XMKMF execution with no env specified - Use options helper in x11/xautolock to simplify the port

* Explicitly use another name for the distfile.rakuco2013-06-022-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Quite a while ago I started mirroring ltablex.zip because some CTAN mirrors delivered a zip file with the same contents but a different checksum. The package build cluster seems to have mirrored one of those "wrong" versions, and every once in a while I get an email about package building failures which are actually caused by that. Work around the issue by renaming the ltablex.zip file I mirror to ltablex-1.0.zip, which should hopefully make ftp-master re-fetch it.
