This is acid v0.9.4, Analysis Console for Intrusion Databases (ACID) with
Snort and MySQL. Before someone complain about it, I need to say portlint
doesn't like this port so much. That's because the naming rule of
DISTFILES(from the author) has a bad style.
ACID needs snort 1.6.3(maybe higher) and php3/mysql, we are waitng for
upgrading the development version of snort to make this port happy.

PORTREVISION or PORTEPOCH are defined.
Most of these Makefiles were defining DISTNAME and WRKSRC (and
sometimes EXTRACT_SUFX) -- change those to define DISTFILES only.
Also, some of the WRKSRC lines were not even necessary, as they were
defining it to the default value.

have not tried KDE 2.0 or haven't done so in awhile (i.e. since July or
before), you should try this. This version is extremely stable and offers
better functionality than before. This update also introduces the KDE2
modules kdegraphics and kdemultimedia to our ports tree. Additionally,
this marks the first time FreeBSD packages were announced as part of the
KDE2 beta release announcement! :-)
Most (if not all) of the remaining modules in KDE2 will be added for the
update WRT the final release.
A hack was added to fix building with SSL in kdelibs; this has been merged
in the main tree and will go away with 2.0 release update. Thanks to David
Faure <david@mandrakesoft.com> for his help regarding this.
Also, building the docs should now succeed because I've added a build
dependency on jade and linuxdoc (should be enough).
People can get my precompiled packages from the usual location on the KDE
FTP server (should spread to the mirrors Real Soon Now (tm)):
http://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/distribution/2.0Beta5/tar/FreeBSD/
Have fun! Remember to reports bugs through http://bugs.kde.org/.

dependencies to kde2, and add koffice to kde2, because it's part of the
2.0 release. Fix my bogon in forgetting to remove obsolete qt22 patches.
The current state of the ports as far as building and installing is quite
good, but I expect minor problems with PLISTs other than for the ones I've
fixed here. I'm going to let bento figure it out. :-)
Please, test these ports and report bugs to submit@bugs.kde.org, and send
me problems with the ports themselves. I've found that KDE2 seems to have
stabilized significantly since the last snapshot.
And now, I am removing the last patch remaining in the KDE2 ports, except
for the QT 2.2 snapshot.

The MIT Kerberos Team announces the availibility of MIT Kerberos 5
Release 1.2.1. This is primarily a bugfix release. Changes include:
* A bug in the gssapi library that prevented kadmin clients from
working has been fixed. For some reason this was not caught during
beta testing.
* login.c now correctly sets the default ccache name.
* A memory leak in conv_princ.c has been fixed.

- Fix the Makefiles to obey the CC and CFLAGS settings
- Fix patches/patch-ab to be PREFIX/LOCALBASE safe
- Fix the post-install to not compress the gunzip and tripwire executables
that go onto a floppy -- there is no support for the gzip-ed ELF binaries
at all, and even for the older AOUT ones such support was optional
- Replaces the /kernel with `sysctl -n kern.bootfile` in the tw.conf as the
tw.conf.freebsd2 is copied into the right place.
- Replace the use of mktemp(3) with tmpfile(3) (see patches/patch-mktemp).
This also caused a removal of a few buffers (of size MAXPATHLEN+256) and
quite a few strcpy and sprintf invocations.

requested by some people. And the change is trivial.)

could be assigned to ssh sessions on the two ports).
Combine two patches into one.

not fully supported here yet, but it's mostly there; see README.openssh2.
