Changelog:
- The "empty CC field" bug was fixed, as well as the
incorrect generation of SMTP headers.
- The application sets its icon now.
- A sysctl call is used instead of uname on BSD systems,
to avoid getting a truncated "uname -a" output.

a year now, so return his ports to the unmaintained pool in the hopes
that someone will adopt them and give them a good home.
While here, pacify portlint on all of them.
Discussed with: various members of portmgr@, at various times over
the last few months.

Open opens a new vt and runs a command on it. It can be used as a simple
way to start several console logins without having to type your passwd
on each VT in turn. open can be used as a simpler to use replacement for
the doshell(8) command.
open is similar in functionality to the AIX/RS6000 command of the same name.

Important changes:
==================
- Kmail and knode have been moved from kdenetwork to kdepim. This
means you will have to install kdepim if you want to continue using
kmail or knode. This is to ease integration with korganizer, in
the new 'Kontact' application.
- The arabic translations for KDE and KOffice have been moved from
misc to the arabic category.
- There is a new module called kdeaccessibility in the accessibility
category. It contains a few utilities for disabled users like a
magnification lens and a text-to-speech frontend.
- In KDM, you need to select the 'CUSTOM' session profile in order
to have your .xsession executed. This is particularly important if
you're using the aegypten tools
(http://freebsd.kde.org/howtos/aegypten-kmail.php).
- We have started making more parts of the ports optional. In kdepim,
both Kandy and KPilot can be turned off with ports-knobs. This
process will continue in the 3.2 series.

For a full list of changes see:
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/AN-2.01a25
- Fix previous commit which made the cdrtools-devel port to not print the
available knob in the pre-everything target when said knob is turned on to
not offer it when compiling mkisofs-devel. Note that the former behaviour
will be removed again in case the cdrtools-devel port grows more knobs,
it's just to much mess in the makefile then.
- Introduce a small hack in the makefile of the cdrtools-devel port so the
cdrtools version has to be only specified once for PORTVERSION and DISTNAME.
- Reword the desciption of rscsi in the pre-everything message and the PLIST
to make clear that rscsi is the remote SCSI daemon and clients are built
into cdda2wav, cdrecord, etc. unconditionally.
- Bump the PORTREVISION of the mkisofs-devel port as underlying libraries
have changed.

peripherals, file systems, device drivers, or any data stream supported
by the operating system. In its' simplest mode of operation, dt writes
and then verifys its' default data pattern, then displays performance
statisics and other test parameters before exiting. Since verification
of data is performed, dt can be thought of as a generic diagnostic tool.

'userneu' is a Perl script that parses a list of usernames
and additional information (such as the real name or other
information to be put in the GECOS field in /etc/passwd)
and creates Unix accounts and (if desired) Samba accounts
as well. If the script stumbles upon duplicate user names
it can append random characters to the username until it
fits.

- Fix typos in documentation. I seem to be unable to spell "pacakge"

As the first step in updating this popular program, I am
releasing the current copy of the source for top 3.5. In
the coming weeks this should become the final 3.5 release.
Beta13 includes updated modules for freebsd, linux, and
AIX.
Included are all patches for FreeBSD 4.7 - 5.2 so that this version
can be used as a drop-in replacement for the base versions (use
TOP_OVERWRITE_BASE=yes)

I confirm that I no longer wish to be the maintainer of xlogmaster.
I suggest that the port be deleted. Xlogmaster's author has moved on
to another product, and I don't have the skills to maintain Xlogmaster
itself, particularly those to make it work under release 5 (impacted by
GCC changes).
So, if anyone is using this port, they should step up now to save it on 5.x.

- Obey the (changed) "GPL clarifications text" in cdrecord.c and compile
with "-DSOURCE_MODIFIED" as this port slightly modifies cdrtools.
- Remove the WITH_DVDHACK knob, this port is pretty much unmaintainable
with this patch on its coat-tails. If you want to write DVDs please use
a tool like dvdrtools or cdrecord-prodvd that is written for that purpose
and coordinate with their authors if they don't work for you.

These patches do the following things for PEAR ports:
* devel-pear-PEAR-Makefile.common.patch
- provides a do-install target and all that jazz in
devel/pear-PEAR/Makefile.common
- individual PEAR ports now just set a few variables:
* pear-ports-Makefile.common-ng.patch
contains changes for all pear-* ports including devel/pear-PEAR
See http://smradoch.innuendo.cz/FreeBSD/ for complete description.
Note: still missing are:
devel/pear-HTML_Common
devel/pear-I18N
net/pear-Net_NNTP
security/pear-Auth

Written by Andre Lerche, this plugin checks the
chosen mountpoint for free disk space.
It displays 4 different icons (red, yellow, green, unknown)
and a message box, depending on the free space.
The amount of free disk space is visible in a tooltip.
If you left-click on its icon, it opens the
mountpoint directory in the file manager.
