over 70 popular programming languages, and has been used to count over 3
billion lines of code by 200,000 developers!
Ohcount does more than just count lines of code. It can also detect popular
open source licenses such as GPL within a large directory of source code.
It can also detect code that targets a particular programming API, such as
Win32 or KDE.

- Remove dependencies that are no longer needed.
- Add dependency on net/GeoIP and hack around the desire for the port to fetch

This is needed to switch a default linux base at 8-CURRENT
to linux_base-f10. No PORTREVISION bump is needed since
it's a mere infrastructure fix. Affected ports:
-----
games/legends
games/linux-quake3-demo
games/rtcw
net/skype-devel
-----
Note: no more ports are using USE_GL=linux, it may be removed
from Mk/bsd.ports.mk.

With playd you don't need the mplayer gui to use it as a audio/video
player because playd supports playlists. It is easy to integrate
playd into a window manager menu (e.g. FVWM).

. We are now installing a real eclipse product.
. Only the jar files for the platform are built, dramatically reducing
the time necessary to build (thanks to the Fedora devs for the idea
and the basic procedure).
. Lot of small fixes to the build procedure to make future imports easier
. Some of the bundles are pre-extracted during install to improve
launching time.
. JDK 1.6 is required to build but any jre (1.5 or 1.6) can be used in
Preferences->Java->Installed JREs. JDK 1.4 is unfortunately not
supported at this time.
. Switch to x86_64 architecture name instead of amd64 to be more in-line
with mainline eclipse.
Note that after this update you will need to reinstall any plugins you've
installed with the built in Update Manager. This is a one time thing.

OpenGL programs with character rendering services via an application
programming interface (API).
The character rendering services provided by GLC has some significant
advantages over platform specific interface such as GLX or WGL:
1. The GLC API is platform independent. Since most nontrivial GL
applications render characters, GLC is an important step toward the
goal of truly portable GL applications.
2. The GLC is simpler to use. Only two lines of GLC commands are
required to prepare for rendering characters.
3. GLC provides more ways to exploit the rendering power of OpenGL.
For example, a glyph can be drawn as a bitmap, a set of lines, a
set of triangles, or a textured rectangle.
4. GLC provides better support for glyph transformations. For
example, GLC supports rotated text, which is unavailable in GLX.
5. GLC provides better support for the large coded character set
defined by the standards ISO/IEC 10646:2003 and Unicode 4.0.1
QuesoGLC is a free (as in free speech) implementation of the GLC.
QuesoGLC is based on the FreeType library, provides Unicode support
and is designed to be easily ported to any platform that supports
both FreeType and the OpenGL API.

nicer fixed-width tables. Furthermore, it supports the colortbl
package for colored tables optimized for presentations. The powerful
new ctable package is supported and especially recommended when
footnotes are needed. LaTeX::Table ships with some predefined, good
looking themes.

Latex programs to format a LaTeX document. Formatting with LaTeX
is complicated; there are potentially many programs to run and the
output of those programs must be monitored to determine whether
further processing is required.

With plaintext SMTP sessions AND smtpd_tls_auth_only=yes AND
smtp_sasl_auth_enable=yes, the SMTP server logged warnings for
reject_*_sender_login_mismatch, instead of enforcing them.
Revert the default alias_database and alias_maps paths to /etc/aliases (instead
of /etc/mail/aliases) -- the change to the latter was introduced in the
"refactoring" patch (ports/ports/134728) and is incompatible with older
versions of mail/postfix on FreeBSD and inconsistent with how the software is
designed to work upstream.
Finally, we IGNORE= when WITH_VDA is set until the VDA folks release a patch
that definitely works with 2.6.2. Although I suspect the 2.6.1 patch would
work, I think it's better form to let the VDA folks update their patch.
