No longer build or install the included libcom_err and compile_et.
= ftpd now uses IP_PORTRANGE* in the same fashion as the system ftpd.
By default, ftpd will now use high port numbers for serving clients
in passive mode.
= Fix segmentation fault in kadmin.
A null pointer dereference that was only tickled when using kadmin
with a kdc that uses LDAP as the backend.
= Fix a search filter in hdb-ldap.c.
A lookup was failing to fetch operational attributes such as
modifiersName.
= Bump PORTREVISION for above changes.

He will be working mainly on emacs/elisp ports which most people fear
and keep away from. ;) Needless to say, his great ports skill won't
allow us to limit him to that area. I guarantee he will greatly help
us maintaining and bloating our ports tree.
I will mentor him, and dump all his PR's on himself. :>
Please welcome this brave matador who tames that evil gnu monster!

dot.*rc in ${PREFIX}/share/skel/zh_TW.Big5, instead of `make install-user`.
I also have to admit the RUN_DEPENDS section is too ugly, since it
strives identifying whether an installed port/package is Big5-ized.
For those which is unique or have "cookies", there should be no problem.
But the following still have problems, especially slave ports:
mutt
nvi-big5(if another version of nvi-m17n is installed)
pine4(not sure yet)
rxvt
aterm
tin
tintin++
xmms

ftp site (specified in portbuild.conf). (It used to be implied by
-norestr.)
(2) Remove x11-toolkits/Motif-dummy from list of dummy ports, since
open-motif is now the default. Also gone is the MOTIF_OPEN
variable.
(3) Run the tar -czf of the ports tree and generation of CHECKSUM.MD5
in the background.
(4) Print the amount of time it took for the entire process, as well
as phase 1 and phase 2 of the compilations. (It is done by date
-r, so it will only work modulo 24 hours. Hopefully the build
will never go over 24 hours again.)
(5) Make symlink of the form [ae].${branch}.YYYYMMDD ->
[ae].${branch}.YYYYMMDDHH so we can have the simple "date" form as
well as the new "date+hour" directories for logs.
(6) Remove temporary make status files from /tmp that are over 60
minutes since the last modification. It was filling up the root
filesystem.
(7) Print out an "ls -lrt" of packages/All into logs/ls-lrt. This is
going to be used to evaluate make's job dispatch policies.

USE_MOTIF and generates a LIB_DEPENDS to x11-toolkits/open-motif. As
before, it implies USE_XPM (and therefore USE_XLIB). Motif-dummy is
removed from PKG_IGNORE_DEPENDS, whose sole resident is now XFree86-3.
Most of the simple ".if defined(HAVE_MOTIF)"s are removed to always
have USE_MOTIF. ftp/moxftp will define USE_MOTIF unless
WANT_ATHENA_VERSION (new variable) is defined. I merged the X cases
in cad/mars, so USE_MOTIF is used iff WITHOUT_X11 is not defined.
I will remove x11-toolkits/Motif-dummy (which has been repo copied to
open-motif) in a few days.

mkisofs is a pre-mastering program that generates binary ISO9660
filesystem image. Users can then write the image to devices like
CD-R or CD-RW. This port can also generate Chinese Big5 filenames
on Joliet filesystems. Use the -J option to activate it.
Although it works flawlessly, further improvements are possible:
1. Accept GB(Simplified Chinese) filenames also.
2. Upgrade to mkisofs 1.13. 1.13 uses a better structure to manage
I18N, which is (almost all) borrowed from Linux kernel's fs code.

irc/xchat. As japanese/xchat "built" without a problem, I didn't
notice it was "broken"... In reality, the configure script failed to
detect the iconv library because of the removal of CPPFLAGS and LIBS
in CONFIGURE_ENV, therefore the built binary lacked Japanese support.
(i.e. the ja-xchat package included in 4.2-RELEASE will be broken)
To avoid this kind of sad accidents in future, add a note to irc/xchat
that it has a slave port and one should be careful not to overwrite
variables or targets.

Better word wrapping for CJK strings
Specify default font's encoding explicitly
Better XLFD handling
Selection resync fixes
Numerous gtkrc.$locale samples
Other minor fixes
One flaw of this port is that CLE only supports i386 platform, so alpha
users still have to use x11-toolkits/linux-gtk.

Add several sites to, and remove several from, MASTER_SITE_SUNSITE.
The ones I removed had been flagged by Fenner's port survey, but
I also checked them myself. I removed ftp.jaring.my because it is
only a partial mirror. I added metalab's HTTP service at the bottom
of the list.

It has been included in Ruby 1.6.2-preview2 as one of the standard
libraries since 1.6.1, and has now got sufficient stablility.
Besides, it doesn't work with Ruby 1.4.x anyway, so there's no reason
to keep it anymore.

Prepare for the future merger with databases/postgresql7.
- Fix broken plist's by copying from those of databases/postgresql7.
- Previous plist removed all the precious user data mercilessly. :(
DO NOT PERFORM A "pkg_delete" AGAINST THE PREVIOUS INSTALLATION!
YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE DATA STORED IN "${PREFIX}/pgsql/data"!!!
- A bunch of missing entries have been added for pgacess files to
plist.tcl.
- Fix permissions for ${PREFIX}/pgsql/lib to avoid causing a security
error when doing ldconfig.
- Make scripts PREFIX-safe.
- Synchronize with databases/postgresql7.
- Standardize variable names.
- Complete user friendly messages.
- Move the Java class files to the standard directory..
- Minor cleanups.
I hope the merger will be accomplished in near future.
