GNOME 2.20 release notes can be found at
http://www.gnome.org/start/2.20/notes/en/ . Beyond that, this update
includes the new GIMP 2.4 (courtesy of ahze).
The GNOME 2.20 update also includes a huge change in the FreeBSD GNOME
hierarchy. We are now using the more standard DATADIR of ${PREFIX}/share
rather than ${PREFIX}/share/gnome. The result is that fewer patches and
hacks are needed to port GNOME components to FreeBSD. This will mean some
user changes may be required, so be sure to read /usr/ports/UPDATING for
more details.
This release and the things we accomplished in it would not have been
possible without mezz's crazy idea to collapse DATADIR, and his persistence
to make it happen successfully. Ahze and pav also deserve thanks for
their work on porting modules and testing the whole ball of wax on
pointyhat (respectively).
The FreeBSD GNOME team would also like to thank our various testers and
contributors:

Phonetic Alphabet) Unicode 5 range, written in Keyman keyboard
language. The keyboard is developed by SIL Non-Roman Script Initiative
(NRSI). This port installs the keyboard so that it can be used through
SCIM KMFL IMEngine (textproc/scim-kmfl-imengine).
This open source keyboard is provided under SIL's Freeware licence
(http://www.sil.org/computing/catalog/freeware.html) which makes it
free for personal use only and non-distributable. Besides,
<quot>If you plan to redistribute your modified keyboard you must
rename it.</quot>

Since the package uses InputStream and OutputStream, it is possible
to combine this package with the java.util.zip package to handle

1.1.0 fixes a pretty serious bug which resulted in BSM records without
pathname tokens being processed in some cases.
Additionally, timeout-window and timeout-probability features were added
to allow people defining sequences with timeouts to add an element of
randomness to the timeout, in theory making it more difficult for people
to attack.
timeout 60;
timeout-window 10;
timeout-probability 65;
Basically equates to:
"This sequence should timeout in a random amount of time, where the
probability of the timeout being from 60-70 is 65%"
It should be noted that there is a probability of 35% that the value will
be completely random. So naturally, the lower the timeout-probability, the
more random the timeout will be.

systems. KMFL is being jointly developed by SIL International
(http://www.sil.org) and Tavultesoft (http://www.tavultesoft.com).
SCIM KMFL IMEngine allows you to use KMN keyboards (compiled with
textproc/kmflcomp) through standard SCIM interface.
The powerful KMN keyboard language supports contextual deadkeys,
pre- and post-processing of keystrokes, rules grouping, 'storing'
of character classes for use in similar rules, custom and Unicode
character constants, SIL Ethnologue language codes, etc.
Official Tavultesoft repository contains keyboards that cover more
than 220 languages. Significant number of them are open source.
Ported keyboards are textproc/scim-kmfl-*.

which drastically improves mail delivery performance when
VERP is being used.
In order to exploit the performance gain, one has to choose
'POSTFIX' in the OPTIONS menu, configure postfix with proper
smtpd_authorized_verp_clients settings, then add:
VERP_STYLE = 'Postfix'
to the mm_cfg.py configuration.
The Postfix style XVERP delivery is disabled by default.

- GDC gets a fail of link with GCC42(on 8-current/7-PR1)
because libstdc++ is not in the default link target
where libphobos of GDC needs it.
To fix that issue, I have added a patch that make libstdc++
a link tareget of GDC.
Sometimes 6-stable says that it is a overplus link but it is
no problem.

change log for Pyrex 0.9.6.1. These bug(s) result in breaking ports
dependent on Pyrex. These issues has been resolved in Pyrex 0.9.6.1 and
later. The most recent version of Pyrex is 0.9.6.3 but it won't build
and a patch has been issued to the developer of Pyrex, I have therefore
chosen to update to version 0.9.6.2 which have been tested and fixes the
above mentioned issues with depending ports (for example py-fastaudio
which I maintain).

- Utilize ETCDIR for Makefile and pkg-plist
- Move pkg-message to FILESDIR
- No need to use USE_GETTEXT=yes, because port doesn't install any mo files
and --enable-nls option doesn't help. With --with-included-gettext apcupsd
doesn't build.

1. When I changed how the MOVED file was treated in version 1.19
I accidentally typed a literal /usr/ports/. Change that to the
variable for PORTSDIR as it should be. [1]
2. When using the --show-work feature and the port has no dependencies,
exit immediately instead of recursing.
