| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Decreased default cache size values to 100k ( query + table ) - Next fileId (CegoXMLSpace::nextFID ) calculation now analyses the existing fileId and uses the lowest available. The MAXFID attribute in the database xml file is no more used. This avoids, that file id exceeds in case of frequent creation and removement of tablesets. - Some format correction in CegoAdminHandler - Increased parameter FILMNG_MAXDATAFILE to 10000 and TABMNG_MAXTABSET to 500 - Optimization added in CegoDisCursor::distSetup(CegoAttrCond) If the native table cursor could not set up either FULL or PART, the table cursor retrieved all available rows from the corresponding table. In this case, the table also can be cached to improve subsequent queries for this table. This fix is relevant for queries like select * from t1 where b like '%X%', since the like condition cannot be used by the table cursor Submitted by: Bjoern Lemke <lemke@lemke-it.com>

* Update the Qt4 ports to 4.8.7.rakuco2015-09-164-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | According to upstream, this is the last planned Qt4 release. A list of changes since 4.8.6 can be found here: <http://download.qt.io/official_releases/qt/4.8/4.8.7/changes-4.8.7> Porting notes and changes: - Remove several patches that have been upstreamed. - Make Uses/qmake.mk pass the contents of LIBS to the qmake environment. [1] - Repurpose devel/qt4/files/extrapatch-src-corelib-global-qglobal.h now the original patch is part of the release (curiously enough, the original patch was never actually used, as the ?= assignment in r362837 after r362770 was never possible). This works around the way compiler support for C++11 features is detected in Qt 4.8.7: while it originally only uses the compiler to determine if something is supported or not, the initializer lists feature also depends on the C++ standard library being used. It's a problem in FreeBSD 9.x, where USES=compiler:c++0x or USES=compiler:c++11-lang means we will use clang to build a port but use libstdc++ from base (GCC 4.2). The latter obviously does not support initializer lists, and the build fails because Qt tries to include headers that do not exist (<initializer_list>). Since detecting libstdc++'s version is not trivial (we need to include a non-lightweight header like cstdio and then check for __GLIBCXX__), we just enable Q_COMPILER_INITIALIZER_LISTS support only when libc++ is used (there should be no reason for someone to be using clang with GCC 4.8's libstdc++, for example). x11/kdelibs4's FindQt4.cmake had to include a backported change from the upstream FindQt4.cmake in CMake itself to use a C++ compiler to detect flags like Q_WS_X11, otherwise the inclusion of <ciso646> in qglobal.h makes the build fail. This patch contains changes by me, makc@ and alonso@. PR: 202552 [1] PR: 202808 [exp-run] Submitted by: pawel@ [1]

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | <ChangeLog> Upgrade urgency: HIGH for Redis and Sentinel. However note that in order to fix certain replication bugs, the replication internals were modified in a very heavy way. So while this release is conceptually saner, it may contain regressions. For this reason, before the release, QA activities were performed by me (antirez) and Redis Labs and no evident bug was found. * [FIX] A number of bugs related to replication PSYNC and the (yet experimental) diskless replication feature were fixed. The bugs could lead to inconsistency between masters and slaves. (Salvatore Sanfilippo, Oran Agra fixed the issue found by Yuval Inbar) * [FIX] A replication bug in the context of PSYNC partial resynchonization was found and fixed. This bug happens even when diskless replication is off in the case different slaves connect at different times while the master is creating an RDB file, and later a partial resynchronization is attempted by a slave that connected not as the first one. (Salvatore Sanfilippo, Oran Agra) * [FIX] Chained replication and PSYNC interactions leading to potential stale chained slaves data set, see issue #2694. (Salvatore Sanfilippo fixed an issue reported by "GeorgeBJ" user at Github) * [FIX] redis-cli --scan iteration fixed when returned cursor overflows 32 bit signed integer. (Ofir Luzon, Yuval Inbar) * [FIX] Senitnel: fixed a bug during the master switch process, where for a failed conditional check, the new configuration is rewritten, during a small window of time, in a corrupted way where the master is also reported to be one of the slaves. This bug is rare to trigger but apparently it happens in the wild, and the effect is to see a replication loop where the master will try to replicate with itself. A detailed explanation of the bug and its effects can be found in the commit message here: https://github.com/antirez/redis/commit/c20218eb5770b2cafb12bc7092313b8358fedc0a. The bug was found by Jan-Erik Rediger using a static analyzer and fixed by Salvatore Sanfilippo. * [FIX] Sentinel lack of arity checks for certain commands. (Rogerio Goncalves, Salvatore Sanfilippo) * [NEW] Replication internals rewritten in order to be more resistant to bugs. The replication handshake in the slave side was rewritten as a non blocking state machine. (Salvatore Sanfilippo, Oran Agra) * [NEW] New "replication capabilities" feature introduced in order to signal from the master to the slave what are the features supported, so that the master can choose the kind of replication to start (diskless or not) when master and slave are of different versions. (Oran Agra, Salvatore Sanfilippo) * [NEW] Log clients details when SLAVEOF command is received. (Salvatore Sanfilippo with inputs from Nick Craver and Marc Gravell). </ChangeLog>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of manually adding both a build- and a run-time dependency on libedit from ports, use USES=libedit instead. Not only does it take care of adding the proper dependency, but it also sets CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH to ${LOCALBASE} to make sure that the version in ports is preferred instead of the one in base. This is a dependency for moving to CMake 3.3.x, as starting with 3.3.0 calls to find_library() will also look in the $PATH environment variable and end up finding libedit from base by default (see bug 202516). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Changes: - Add external cffi ports (a la python): - databases/pypy-gdbm - databases/pypy-sqlite3 - x11-toolkits/pypy-tkinter - Add bsd.pypy.mk for consistency between pypy ports. - Add bsd.pypy.cffi.mk for consistency with external cffi ports. - Switch back to using $PREFIX/pypy-X.Y (the '-' separator is required to differentiate between lang/pypy and lang/pypy3) - Remove all patches (upstreamed, see announcement below) ChangeLog: - Bug Fixes - Revive non-SSE2 support - Fixes for detaching _io.Buffer* - Clear up contention in the garbage collector between trace-me-later and pinning - Issues reported with our previous release were resolved after reports from users on our issue tracker at https://bitbucket.org/pypy/pypy/issues or on IRC at #pypy. - New features: - cffi was updated to version 1.3 - The python stdlib was updated to 2.7.10 from 2.7.9 - vmprof now supports multiple threads - The translation process builds cffi import libraries for some stdlib packages, which should prevent confusion when package.py is not used - better support for gdb debugging - FreeBSD should be able to translate PyPy "out of the box" with no patches - Numpy: - Better support for record dtypes, including the align keyword - Implement casting and create output arrays accordingly (still missing some corner cases) - Support creation of unicode ndarrays - Better support ndarray.flags - Support axis argument in more functions - Refactor array indexing to support ellipses - Allow the docstrings of built-in numpy objects to be set at run-time - Support the buffered nditer creation keyword - Performance improvements: - Delay recursive calls to make them non-recursive - Skip loop unrolling if it compiles too much code - Tweak the heapcache - Add a list strategy for lists that store both floats and 32-bit integers. The latter are encoded as nonstandard NaNs. Benchmarks show that the speed of such lists is now very close to the speed of purely-int or purely-float lists. - Simplify implementation of ffi.gc() to avoid most weakrefs - Massively improve the performance of map() with more than one sequence argument Differential Revision: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D3285

* percona56-client: Switch to USES=libedit.rakuco2015-08-251-2/+1
This is a dependency for moving to CMake 3.3.x, as starting with 3.3.0 calls to find_library() will also look in the $PATH environment variable and end up finding libedit from base by default. * Uses/cmake.mk: Replace CMAKE_ENV with CONFIGURE_ENV.rakuco2015-08-181-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of defining a variable that is almost always based on CONFIGURE_ENV, just use CONFIGURE_ENV directly. This also matches the behavior of other ports that do not use autotools (so most ports can just worry about CONFIGURE_ENV). Additionally, the fact that we do not use ?= means we do not have problems if another file in Uses/ needs to set CONFIGURE_ENV (with CMAKE_ENV, the order of the arguments to USES would matter). Ports which set CMAKE_ENV have been adjusted accordingly. In most cases, CMAKE_ENV was just replaced with CONFIGURE_ENV, the exceptions being: * databases/sqliteman: CMAKE_ENV line removed; setting QMAKESPEC there has no effect on the build system. * devel/freeocl: CMAKE_ENV line removed; FREEOCL_CXX_COMPILER is already retrieved from the CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER variable in the build system. * graphics/openimageio: CMAKE_ENV line removed; setting Qt variables there has no effect on the build system. * Remove UNIQUENAME and LATEST_LINK.mat2015-08-1719-29/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | UNIQUENAME was never unique, it was only used by USE_LDCONFIG and now, we won't have conflicts there. Use PKGBASE instead of LATEST_LINK in PKGLATESTFILE, the *only* consumer is pkg-devel, and it works just fine without LATEST_LINK as pkg-devel has the correct PKGNAME anyway. Now that UNIQUENAME is gone, OPTIONSFILE is too. (it's been called OPTIONS_FILE now.) EXP runs by antoine) * 29 of 72 64bit ports ports don't have deinstall leftovers (more validation later, when I dare to activate the 64bit linuxulator in the kernel) - the infrastructure part looks mature enough to let more test-bunnies get some experience with the new 64 bit parts - to use it you shall have no linux ports installed and have to specify (on your own risk) the following in make.conf before installing the ports: OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=c6_64 OVERRIDE_LINUX_NONBASE_PORTS=c6_64 This is on top of the exiting c6 linux ports. Given that CentOS 7 is 64bits only, we decided to have it as an "overlay" instead of new ports. The 64bit part only installs 64bit executables, the 32bit ports can not be installed at the same time (if needed we can think of letting the 64bit overlay install the 32bit parts too, but given the CentOS 7 comment above...). * By default libtool replaces -export-symbols <file> with -retain-symbols-filetijl2015-08-0215-13/+15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | <file> on ELF systems, but this doesn't really do what -export-symbols is meant to do. On GNU ELF systems it converts <file> to a simple version script first and then uses -version-script instead of -retain-symbols-file. Let USES=libtool patch libtool scripts to do this on all systems with GNU ld(1). Bump PORTREVISION on all ports where the build log contains -export-symbols. audio/calf: This port builds a module that now exports only one function, but it also builds a number of executables that link to this module and expect to see other functions. Because it's already a bit dodgy to link to a module (libtool warns about this) let the module continue to export only one function and instead build an ordinary library from the same source that the executables can link to. Fix a number of other issues in the same Makefile.am and clean up the port Makefile. japanese/scim-honoka: Tries to hide all symbols that start with an underscore, but because this library is written in C++ all symbols start with _Z so it ends up hiding everything. Just don't hide anything at all like the textproc/scim configure script does. multimedia/schroedinger: Apply an upstream patch. textproc/scim-input-pad: Same as japanese/scim-honoka. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - In CegoQueryHelper::evalPredicate fixed termination for INSUB- and NOTINB queries. There was no reset at the end of the evaluation, which might lead to open table cursors. In case of procedure queries, this might lead to locking problems. Since the query is reset after evaluation, query caching is no more useful. This must be treated in an advanced way. - Further patches in CegoTableManager::deleteDataTable, CegoFactor::evalReferences and CegoSelect::nextTuple for advanced query cache handling. All patches have impact on queries of the form DELETE FROM t1 WHERE a IN ( SELECT ....) Submitted by: Björn Lemke <lemke@lemke-it.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | - Added performance patch in CegoFieldValue. Values with a length up to STATICFIELDBUF size ( 100 bytes ) are handled using a static byte array. This saves expensive memory allocation calls in most cases. First very rough performances analysis has shown a performance improvement of about 5-10 percent - The local copy logic was shifted from CegoSelect::nextGroupedTuple to CegoGroupSpace::insertTuple. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Fix in CegoSelect::nextGroupedTuple. For the 'grouping key' values, a local copy of CegoFieldValue has to be created. Otherwise, grouping references might be invalidated, which result in aborted grouping queries with strange error message ( No token available ) on client side. For local copy creation, the CegoFieldValue::getLocalCopy method has been modified ( was not used until now ). This effect was observed with small buffer poolsizes in combination with grouping queries on large tables. The probability of grouping key invalidation is higher in that case, because buffer pool pages are reloaded more often. Submitted by: Björn Lemke <lemke@lemke-it.com>
